It’s the era of Transmigration.

I was hoping to be reborn as the adorable heroine of a cozy childcare story, showered with love and doted on.

Instead, I possessed the worst possible novel.

Number one on the “avoid at all costs” list.

The undisputed king of frustrating, suffocating angst.

I possessed someone inside an infinite time-loop misery-fest novel called: Return Until the World is Saved.

In a world where survival difficulty is already S-rank, I didn’t even land as a young lady from a prominent family or anything remotely important. I became an extra, Aillet, the young daughter of a household servant in the Count’s manor.

But even so… it wasn’t all bad.

We are poor, but it’s a happy life between a kind brother and a good father. I even made a best friend who matches my tastes perfectly, something I never had the time or luxury to build in my previous life.

Even the gods of the Transmigration Management Bureau are openly fond of me.

I’m living a life full of confidence.

On top of that, I accidentally bought the ‘After-Life Insurance’ full package just before my death. The perks kicked in, I leveled up with the high-speed growth buff, and diligently destroyed the original plot.

Thanks to plenty of special privileges, I came to give satisfaction for all the frustrated readers of the original work.

And then—

“You wiped your face with your dirty hands.”

“Don’t be surprised. It’s because I have an obligation to be kind.”

And then, there’s the protagonist who is still nothing more than a handsome pushover, Thesilid.

Here I was expecting a fluffy novel with the MC just overpowering everyone and having a happy ending with the ML but instead I was met with FEELS. I am in SPAIN without the S!

The FL and ML are both OP. They are indeed an OP couple. On the other hand, FL is OP because of the God she follows, ML is OP because he went through various regressions. Regressions that just made my heart ache for him. I just want to say that my Terry (ML) deserves all the... more>> happiness in the world. In the end, ML was willing to save the world not because he loved it but because the FL lived in that world. To our ML, FL was the world, and so for him, it was enough for his world (FL) to love him. I can just feel all the emotions FL must be going through as she imagines all the pain the ML went through. I'm just so happy that ML met the FL, the FL is literally his saving grace, hope, and redemption. FL literally saved him from the abyss, she was his light in all that darkness, and that light gave him the desire to live again.

This seems promising. (Lets hope this keeps up.)

The premise so far seems to be an awkward mix of 'y'olde isekai romance', parody, and Omniscient Reader's PoV. So far it seems to be working.

FL (MC) basically dies by truck-kun, and gets send to the reincarnation office.

... more>> Since Mortals had an upswing in isekai reincarnation novels, the Gods basically went: We can so the same, but BETTER, and is sending people to 'existing' (in-universe) novel worlds to make them more interesting.

MC wanted a 'Loving family and future Romance'. Admittedly, she did get those.

Unfortunately she got those as an unnamed character in a despicable cannon fodder's to-be-destroyed estate. Her only chance is the 'pushover' ML. Except, this is one of those Regression Survival Novels. And the turn she's inserted in basically has him die straight away.

Fortunately (?), she had fluked into Afterlife Insurance Coverage right as she died.

(FL had just been puzzling about the message, wondering if it was spam, just a parody of Life Insurance Spam, or something else.

Then Truck-kun found it's newest victim, and in the process of being hit 'Yes' was accidently pressed.)

Which means she gets time to prepare, a growth buff AND access to the system store, with the currency matching her previous savings.

Which consequently also means she might actually have a chance at saving the 'Currently-Still-Braindead-Sunfish-Protagonist'.*

(Either by changing his Fate beforehand so he doesn't get into the Dungeon to die by Boss right as he resets, or becoming OP enough to join the raid and save his ass.)

*This term is not actually used in-story. It's my own parody on Omniscient Reader's 'Sunfish'. In-Universe readers had referred to ML as 'Pushover Pass' for his inability stand up for himself, and death by betrayal being the common result. Then proceeding on to make the same type of mistake due to still unflagging chivalry and faith in humanity. He starts getting better about that in chapter 70's reset. Unfortunately Heroine is inserted in chapter 17. <<less

This is one of those unfortunate novels where in the author's attempt to create a 'strong FL', they forgo any amount of characterization and fail to make her a fleshed out character. Everything, and I mean everything, exists to make her look good and smart. Wish-fulfillment media serves its purpose and I don't believe in using the term "mary-sue" because I think it diminishes a woman's place in a story, but this is agonizing to read.

Everyone she meets instantly likes her and those who don't are somehow 'wrong' and get... more>> their due comeuppance with so much ease, it's almost laughable. Other people serve no real purpose aside from making her look good. I don't know what people are talking about when they say the characters are well written.

It's like the author is telling us why we should like her by saying, "Oh, everyone else likes her, look how cool she is!" instead of showing us why we should like her. It's the bitter irony of this novel trying to be the antithesis of every transmigration by saying she's fighting against being the unlikable heroine while simultaneously being the unlikable heroine. You can't grow as a person or as a character when you're already being treated like a literal god by the people around you, right? If you're already flying high, where else is there to go? This novel will tell you. Nowhere.

I was really expecting more with all these high marks, but it's all just so bleh. Normally I don't rank things low based on one aspect but when your main character fails in being someone I actually want to root for and see succeed, then that's a very intense failing. Add in the lack of other interesting aspects and no side characters I could give any amount of care for, and now the novel's become completely unreadable.

The setting itself has the potential to be interesting but is very poorly used with so many strange details and mechanics being thrown at you very quickly with very little explanation or time to acclimate to them.

In the end, I've decided to drop this. The glaring issues I see are unlikely to be resolved and I just can't get behind how audaciously this is written as wish fulfillment.

If you're looking for something light to read with a FL that passes the Bechdel Test, then yeah sure. You'll probably like this one. If you like any amount of good characterization and a main character that actually has some room to grow, pass this one and never look back. <<less

I had read the manhwa, and its pretty gorgeous, and interesting. I didn't know it has a novel, the translation are amazing and easy to read.

The story is super interesting and all of the characters are unique, and has their own skills. The story is about the MC who is orphaned from a young age, and was adopted and used by her relatives. After her death she woke up in a place where people designates where they will reincarnated or transmigrated. Unfortunately the MC had transmigrated to S level rank... more>> novel; where the Original ML were regressed multiple times, (not gonna lie it sound like omniscient reader) her mission is to save the ml, I think lol.

I honestly thought that Bia (MC's friend) was also a transmigrator but she wasn't. She was smart for her age and a good friend for our MC. Which is good! Because usually other novels wouldn't make such an interesting character as a bff of the MC. I love how they make interesting chapters that aren't inferior to the MC; like that Matron (she has a very interesting power.) It's a pity since that there are only 20 chapters translated, I still don't know how the story will go since I had only read 20 chapters but so far so good. <<less

I dont really write reviews (this is my first time) but I just have to for this novel. It's not fully translated so I found MTL to read it. I marked myself as complete but I'm actually still looking for the side stories, done the main story though.

May be the best (or at least one of) transmigration/otome isekai novels. I'm a sucker for strong FLs - physically and mentally - so this was perfect. In general and with no spoilers, you can expect:

    • Great world building
    • Strong FL and ML (OP couple <3)
    • Lovable side characters
    • Compelling antagonist
    • Well written fight scenes
A bit more specific (no major spoilers but pretty long) :

A story where for once the FL isn't 'super strong and capable except when the ML is around then she's just another damsel'. Finally

    • Characters: Side characters were all written well. The gods were all soooo adorable and had super distinct personalities which I came to love. The antagonist Reed (leed? Lead? Mtls got me messed up) was honestly the perfect character for his role in the story, got me honestly pitying him like damn :, ( ((. I honestly loved the FLs personality in this - emotionally mature and knew how to make hard decisions, but far from cold or harsh, she loves her family and friends and wants to protect them. Don't have much to say about the ML, but I still liked him and felt that he contributed well to the story. He has a cute dynamic with FL. ** Edit after reading an actual tl. I actually really like the ML, his personality just didn't show that well through MTL I guess.
    • Romance: Super cute, might be a little slow for some but I honestly didn't notice cause the story and plot was so interesting. They get together pretty late, but there's no misunderstandings or anything - they know they like each other (at least the FL does) but circumstances keep them apart. They overcome the obstacles and get together -
      no headaches!! I'm pretty sure they kissed in the later part after they get together, but nothing more.
    • World building: Everything was very well done, different areas/countries has defining features and the relationship between countries was established well. Also some background about past events included, not much but enough to solidify (?) the world.
    • Battle scenes: All well written, so may shiver moments and the FL was so cool. Demons were all interesting and had unique abilities which made every fight scene something new to look forward to.

Overall, this ruined the transmigration trope for me cause ik i'll never find something as good (at least with an FL rather than an ML - I prefer female led stories but there's sadly very few that focus in aspects I enjoy

One of the best isekai reincarnation webnovel with an OP female lead!! This got me into reading novels again. The manwha finished with season 1 and I wanted to continue the story. So yeah, def a great read.

If you like Omniscient Reader, but with a female lead - then this one is for you. It got the time-travel, regression, amazing world building elements. I cannot wait for the updates, its so exciting.

I’m actually really surprised to see such a high rating given that this story has most of the things I find other novels with 3.8 averages have as well.

The MC is genuinely too OP. I don’t even mind Mary Sue! I’m a big enjoyer but this is too far for me. The Gods of the Transmigration bureau hand the MC pretty much everything, which makes it more boring for me to read to be honest. Whatever the MC wants she just buys it from the transmigration store. Where’s the money... more>> from? Does she get it from tasks or quests? No, it’s given to her as well.

Okay, what about those around her? Does she start a relationship with them gradually? No, they all seem to like her. And if they don’t, they’re brainless and she gets rid of them. Okay, does she get rid of them in a manipulative and smart way? No, she literally just gets them to spill all their bad deeds and others overhear.

To me it’s a very boring story without the MC actually working for anything. The background isn’t fresh, the MC’s behaviour is quite two dimensional- no, VERY two dimensional, and there hasn’t even been any setbacks towards her in the whole time I’m reading.

In all, I was shocked by the last other reviewers and decided I had to put in my two cents. <<less

The jokes, the playful and witty dialogues, the romance, the angst, I love it all.

Since OP MC and light story without too much pain is my cup of tea, I will give this novel 5 stars! ;)

I started reading the adaptation before the novel so I had a brief idea of what was going to happen, but even with that I still enjoyed the book more than the adaptation.

While I can see why this book is not for everyone, I think people should give it a try despite the rating! It’s a good lighthearted book so far and it seems promising. The translator does a good job and makes it a smooth and clear reading experience.

Edit: I caught up to the latest chapter and honestly, the story is getting better and better. It's super refreshing to read this novel and no joke, I'm refreshing every 12 hours to check if there's any update.

Pretty fun so far, humorous and coherent.

A good focus of the novel so far has been the main character becoming competent at what she does, and just living life in the mansion as a maid.

Lord, help me get through this. I don't usually goes for this type of novel (by that I mean having 500+ ONGOING chapter while the translated haven't even reach half of it ㅠㅠ), but other than the piling up chapters everything else is my jam. The system windows. The humor. The i-hope-this-is-romance. The FL. THE FL. And as someone who comes from the manhwa, it's also because the visual. Ehe.

Just like any other transmigrator, this one is also striving to be OP, and is becoming OP, but it taste lighter??... more>> That's the best I could pull out from reading this the first time months ago. There's some heavy stuff brewing at the back and if you're a fellow reader who come to this chapter I'm reading now you might get a crucial info regarding how this story gonna lay out (i kid you not I had goosebumps when I realize what's going on). Let's sit and enjoy the twist and turn how our FL gonna get to her ending. I also love how the MC is a girl. This is the first one I read where MC is a girl with status window. Maybe that's why this is lighter??

Personal favorite part is when she's on chat with other transmigrator. Her personal grudge for other genre and her beating level 100 in months only. Good times. <<less

The way the transmigration is explained is new (at least to me) and delivered VERY comically to boot.

The plot flowed naturally. The author matches my humor 100%, which enhanced my enjoyment, it balances well with the action too, so I couldn't help binging it.

The romance of MC and ML is slow, but it's fairly simple to sense how they get closer with each situation.

This applies for both the main story and the other iteration. Which by the way I love because it was like a second novel inside the main... more>> one and had a pretty different flavour.

As characters go, I like the MC a lot, though I don't see her as self-centered like she thinks she is.

At least to me it's common sense to care for your people and put them first. It's not like she's letting innocent people die knowingly anyway.

On the same vein... I see no issue with bad people getting killed or suffering by their own faults and watching it happen without interfering, which is a thing here. Why should you care? It avoids your hands getting dirty with people that are tr*sh and got their karma served, quite literally.

The extras here add some depth to things and some are very likable so rooting for them to be happy too is obvious.

The art I seen of this novel is nice, she's so pretty and badass. ML is handsome too.

The translation was great.

PS: Whoever said this is lighthearted... I think we're reading different novels. There's a lot of angst here. It's just that it's mixed with some humor or nice moments of peace to make it easier to digest. In essence it's a hard trip if one empathizes with what's happening below the surface, to the main characters especially. The second part of the novel is more poignant on this subject, too, for obvious reasons.

TLDR: Leads are op, but in a fun way, not annoying or irrational considering the worldview in this novel.

The gods are similar to the ones in beloved fake saint in terms of their personalities and how they interact with the MC.

There's a good balance between action, angst and familial love/romance/cute and funny moments.

The plot itself was built well and was very enjoyable.

Let me tell you something. I almost passed on this novel because of the description. What After-Life Insurance Package, that seemend like a typical low IQ novel to me.

But thankfully I got curious because of all the 5-star reviews and let me tell you, I devoured this novel.

The writing feels fresh, the author takes old troupes and gives them a twist while not losing a certain playfullness. Still, heavy topics don't feel out of place as well.

The plot twists are great, there is great foreshadowing sprinkled throughout the story, and... more>> Eli and the Gods cracked me up with all the self-awareness that was constantly betrayed.

Sure this is a novel that's more on the lighthearted side, but that doesn't mean that it cannot be great in storytelling.

The main story is chef's kiss, the side chapters round it out very well, I appreciate that there is a second story but for me that wasn't actually necessary in that length and the 2. Ending felt more rushed, therefore 5/5 for the main story 4/5 for the second one.

If you want a breath of fresh air I highly recommend you try this novel. <<less

The female lead is super OP, but we're not here for her, we are here for our poor ML. He needs so many hugs. I'm rooting for them, because she literally trained herself to be everything the ML needs. Admittedly it's to save the world., but really it's to save him. I just want him to be happy. T-T

It's indeed interesting and kinda unique (?). It's one of those novels that has a system window thingy. It's not new to me since I've already read novels like this, so it kinda reminds me of orv (for some reason) and the baby raising a devil (because terry reminds me of adrian). The story is very different tho.

The FMC is OP but I like how there's still a sense of urgency, despair, and thrill when it comes to trials and difficulties. There are unexpected twists and such and of course... more>> there are events that are predictable and cliché. The characters are likeable and I love the humor. Also, the romance was well written, I have no complaints. Seriously, I've been looking for novels with a good romance these days because the other rofan novels I'm reading doesn't satisfy my romance deprivation. Other rofan novels out there, the romance development and interactions between the leads were frustratingly lacking and some are just a bit forced to the point that the romance was unecessary and the role of the ML was useless. But this one is an exception, the romance was well balanced and justified. So I really enjoyed reading this novel.

I don't know what to write anymore... but yes, this is a must read! <<less

First, the synopsis is a garbled mess, I don't know what on earth it was trying to get across, but it failed miserably.

The novel itself (or maybe just the translation) is also somewhat of a mess. In the first paragraph or two, there's multiple grammar and spelling errors that immediately put me off reading further, but I somewhat unwisely ignored my doubts and kept reading.

Continuing for a few chapters, which was a grind as the website seems configured purely for mobile readers, I found that things did not get much... more>> better. Various tropes kept being thrown out with little to no rhyme or reason, both the new life and the ROB meeting were a whirlwind of chaos.

Once the story proper started, I found that the dialogue was off kilter which seemed to be a result of direct translation across language barriers, even where it caused the resulting work to be near incomprehensible in english.

The story itself seemed to be decently interesting in concept, but the various systems and mechanics were annoying to keep track of and their introduction was rushed and vague.

It was at this point, a few chapters in that the formatting changed to something more suited to computers, which I appreciated.

However, actually reading the story made it obvious that the system was going to be a stand in for the ROB that transmigrated the MC to unilaterally give her cheats and stuff as he pleased, which lost the last bit of interest I had in the story. <<less

There's no reason not to love the story as it is. Having an OP female lead and a smooth story flow with an interesting plot, I totally recommend it. A very interesting transmigration story that wasn't really a cliché and also a cliché at the same time.

~every characters were unique and so was the MC.

~humorous, cute, and smooth, for the S-difficulty that the MC must have experience but impossible to be true because of her being an OP character, but nevertheless, her OP skills wasn't unreasonable at all.

I recommended you this novel. If you like strong FL with action and comedy, this. I really like the plot twist. FL is like I'm anti bullsh*t 😂 as always, the title to ML is the most handsome man in the world. I don't complain. I like the gods in the story.

I started with the manga first and then, came for the novel. I was so curious that I read the spoilers in the forum. That has made me even more excited for the upcoming chapters.

Kudos o the translators for staying dedicated o translating this masterpiece.
