I like this alot! It's very basic and your typical transmigration formula with animal transformation to the mix but it works! It's also very easy to read and the pacing itself smooth. Nothing too complicated but the story telling is compelling.

Despite the many plot points pulling your attention, you know what's going on the entire time without getting the scenes all mixed up and fear that you'll miss something. The characters themselves are tied to different plots therefore they are the ones driving the different parts of the story... more>> forward as you yourself majorly experience the story with the MC. For example, when MC interacts with the ML, you know it's to advance their relationship. When the scene shifts to the antagonists, you know the mystery and drama will be uncovered. When interacting with the various side characters, background stories and lore is revealed. As it all should.

MC is basic. But in a good way. Don't fix what isn't broken. But I will say others may find his personality boring because he is so basic. But despite that, its the way he interacts with the world that makes the story fun. I know people will want a stronger MC these days but majority of the human population are followers and not leaders. And most transmigration stories are normal people going into an abnormal world. So the haters can suck it.

ML is the basic broody, dark horse with a tragic back story. The yandere, possessive type. That toxic man that everyone romantize. The fiction that we love but hate in real life. Again, don't fix what isnt broken. Haters will hate. This is my cake and I'll eat it. Enough said.

I like the romance and the shape shifting trope. Early chapters are still worth reading but mid way gives you a headache and should be read while turning your brain off.

MC is naive and no sense of danger. You would expect anyone to be cautious especially in a world placed in medieval setting plus loose laws.

Anyhow I'll read it while having a headache on how MC acts like a manchild that doesn't meet my expectation. Cute is cute but too much isn't cute anymore.

Honestly 4.5⭐ simply because I am sometime confused by MC line of thinking. Since I am in chapter 81, I didn't see this to be improved either.

He is naive but his naivety is to be expected from someone who come from modern era and never get in touch with etiquette or noble manners. And other thing that bugging me is that he almost have no sense of danger or foreboding feeling which to be expected kinda... (?) from someone who came from peaceful modern era. Story are not very complicated it can be a light heart read but with appropriate amount of mystery to keep the readers hooked. Some might find the villain to be too swallow or 2D, but honestly for a romance focused story, its enough. The plot was very easy to guess where it would be heading very early on, and it even explain the reason of transmigation too which is good enough to me since some novels somehow just don't explain why lol.

ML are well, the typical cold, possessive, rich, crown prince of empire ML. Not surprised since the scenario pretty much revealed that on lololol. I do find his characters to be a bit 2d compared to MC tho, but its fine.

The translations are fine but it can be confusing by how fast the POV changed without any indication cuz u might see MC and ML name in 3rd pov, then next paragraph suddenly jumped back to 1st MC POV. Some korean novel similarly have these kind of issues too 🥲🥲 but u get used to it anyway.

I really, really don't like it when authors that have clearly never been through military training make their MC someone that has, then has them act like a helpless idiot during a fight without a single shred of self-preservation. I can see somebody fumbling a bunch, panicking, freezing up, shaking like crazy, or doing something completely wacky and nonsensical in their own defense, like throwing a pillow. But to have them cling to someone that is trying to fight—that is literally the dumbest, most harmful thing anybody could do in... more>> a close combat situation. What kind of useless military training did MC go through that he would do that?! No, it stretches beyond the bounds of credibility. He doesn't even try to fight for his own life! Die then, psh.

(Also, a lone swordsman fending off a group of assassins with throwing knives and daggers while having dead weight clinging to his back like a monkey... No. Just, no. The man isn't walking around in full armor, that stuff is only for the battle field, so he'd be wearing light chainmail with lots of vulnerabilities, and there is no way he would survive that. He is at a disadvantage in almost every single way possible. Doomed.)

I was okay with the MC leading his pampered salted-fish life because, hey, that's the dream. It doesn't mean somebody is incapable. However, this MC just gets more and more useless as the chapters go on, and it disgusts me. The man can't even brush his own hair. If you ever wonder if you are failing at life, being unable to use your own two working arms to do basic life tasks is a good sign that yes, you are. Give me that brush, I want to smack him with it! AISH, how could anyone stand themselves, being so useless!

I really, REALLY want to like these stories where people get reincarnated as divine beasts or whatever, but why are they always so dumb!?

Personal rating maximum 3.9 this not taht bad truly focus on romance, u may feel sweet but if I may be harsh kinda feel like an acting, yeah just feel kinda like that. Oh disclaimer I took of my brain after several chapters bcs I realize that if I keep it I will criticize many part of it.
