FL has been the strings behind every schemes to help ML against his own emperor brother who wanted to kill ML in the old war. FL is a powerful woman who was cheeky and made it obvious she liked him but he always rejected bcs he didn't want to bring any wife just to get her harmed by his brother. Everyone was afraid of FL & ML marriage since if the emperor accused the ML of treason, her entire family would be wiped out. But she loved him so much that she walked into the ML's trap willingly and that got her hurt.
