You will find various novels on this list, most of which can not be compared directly to each other. However, they all complete a set of simple requirements that I have for a 100% badge. Different stories have different settings and purposes - slice-of-life for some domestic drama, comedic satire on well-known tropes, intense historical fantasy with complicated plot knots and so on. Regardless of this, they should all fulfill the "unspoken promises":

1. May the story stay true to itself. Don't ignore rules that were set in a previous instance.

2. Don't focus entirely on the main character(s) and ignore everyone else. Even a single scene of development or closure is enough to pay tribute.

3. Those that have done wrong should get their just punishment. That includes the protagonists.

4. Love is many things and some of them are respect, understanding and trust. And recognizing that your partner may have some mental issues when asking for or performing abusive acts and should get treatment instead of writing it off as a "display of love".

5. Little plot holes can be ignored, but not plot pits.

6. The ending doesn't have to be picture-perfect. It almost never is. But it should give a proper conclusion to all main problems and questions.
