So I really enjoy Light Novels because they have a lot of goofy and interesting topics that most published books never really touch on in any serious way. They're also generally a good read and have a lot of appeal with the whole vicarious power fantasy where the misunderstood loner is suddenly the main character resonates with a lot of people that generally read for fun. That being said there are a few novels that are actually novel quality in terms of writing, character design, character development, world building, etc. They are truly a step above the competition and deserve recognition. This list is pretty small and I'll add to it as I find more LN that meet the criteria but all the entries on this list are worth your time.
