Okay let me just calm down. So I was browsing through novelupdate, trying to find something worth my time to read and I found this book instead. I liked the fact that it was about second chance. (That's like my favourite tag) so I decided to give it a try.

Anyways after I flew through the first twenty chapters which was uploaded on wattpad.... the author directed me to a site. I went there.... and the first thing that hit me was paywall! I mean there is/are like 241 (I think)... more>> chapters in this book. And out of the 241 chapters only twenty is free. That is seriously messed up.

But my problem, isn't the fact we have to pay.... it is the fact that this book has no originality whatsoever. The whole time I was reading, I kept on recalling a book that I read once.... what's it call again.... wait.... was it "Perfect Secret Love: The Bad New Wife is a Little Sweet." Yes! That's the book!

Gu Qingmang reminded me of Ye Wan Wan. In Ye Wan Wan's past life, she wanted nothing more than to escape from Si Yehan's clutches. The same thing could be said for Gu Qingmang.... in the past she wanted to escape. But after being betrayed by the people she loved the most.... she realized that the only person who truly loved her was the Lu Yanmu.... so she decided that if there is/was a next life, she would rewrite her wrongs and do right by the main lead.... aye! Her characteristics are the same as Ye Wan Wan.

I am not one for throwing dirty water, on people's book.... but I am just so irritated. What happened to originality? What happened to sitting down, and trying to properly write out a proper plot for a novel? Is this what the writing society has come to? Stealing other people's ideas, and passing it off as our own.

For me, the first chapter of a book, gives the first impression. And for me, I was disappointed. *sigh* <<less
