Not really judging the story, the translation for this isn't great to say the least. Just not fun to read. The sister from the description might be a brother. The text already switched the gender a few times.

Story might be okay, but seems very bland this far. The FL is annoyingly humble. "You want me to meet the Emperor, your brother ? I mustn't. What if my presence isn't delightful enough for the Emperor." What kind of nonsense thinking is this?

Written/translated in a way so that everything kind of feels like one long flashback, with inconsistent quality.

All the characters are rather frustrating to read about. MC is annoyingly humble, but even more frustratingly unable to set any boundaries.

The Princess and ML are keen to force the MC into a (very dangerous) role for their own selfish desires, and ignore her wishes at every turn. Other than the flattery they heap upon her, neither one has much personality or redeeming qualities.

So far this doesn’t read like a feel good story, nor... more>> anything with any kind of tension or mystery, even though that’s obviously what the author is trying to go for. I’m ten chapters in, and I have been given no worldbuilding, nor interesting characters, or even cute fluff to motivate me to keep me reading.

It's a slowburn melodrama... full of unreal fluffy stuff.. this is like typical Hallmark story. Both concealed their identity and tada! Turns out the man become the powerful emperor with full of love to fl. Both have sad past and heal together, blah blah..

If you like cliche story, this is for you. But if you like entertaining, thrilling, action story, this novel will be really boring when you read it. Because despite the story should be about regaining emperor position and punishing traitors, there are not much major plot about... more>> that and the story mainly between FL & ML only. Even we didnt get pov from the suppossed master villain. No complicated politics, no superb tactics, nor ML shining in his armor beheaded his enemy. All of that missing in this novel.
