The most interesting thing about this novel is that the protagonist is actually good at romance and seduction: he uses methods that make psychological sense, and the narration is insightful and perceptive.

I'd have liked to keep reading. Unfortunately, the initially readable translation on GalaxyTL gets a lot worse, and by chapter 30 it often seemed like unedited machine translation.

One example: instead of 'He wanted to know whether Bai Sheng's eyes were closed', the translation reads: 'He wanted to know whether Bai Sheng was closed at this moment. On the eyes.'... more>> At around the same time, the translation also starts constantly using the wrong pronouns, changing back and forth between male and female for the same character, sometimes in the same sentence.

From what I read, the novel itself deserves a 4 or 5, but the translation is a solid 1, so I'm rating this in between. <<less
