Ye Xu was a player selected by the “Escape Game”. The first time he died, Ye Xu thought he was going to be wiped out.

As a result, he opened his eyes and found himself about to play the next escape game.

On the second death, Ye Xu thought he had no chance of being resurrected. But he turned out to be a ghost NPC, intimidating and pursuing players.

When he died for the third time,

Ye Xu …. He’s numb…

After a long time, in this escape game, whether or not the player could live was not important at all, anyway, they could be infinitely resurrected.

What was even more annoying was that only after clearing the customs did Ye Xu discover that the conditions of the customs clearance and the survival of the game world have nothing to do with each other.

not too bad so far though the MC seems a bit bland at the moment. Hopefully he becomes more interesting as the story moves along (my favorite MC tend to be the smart/quirky ones but so far this MC is very middle of the road). Still, we're still barely into the story so I'm hoping for little character development as it goes.

I would probably rate it a 3.5-4 for now but I'm rating this a 5 to help counter the automatic 1s from the homophobic harem-seeking crowd. I'll re-evaluate my... more>> rating once the story is further along. <<less

What I hate of this novel is that it has "shounen-ai subplot" element.

Though it is only on the near ending and just a glimpse of it also never progress.

It is a nice multiple series of a same concept of power written on different novel or different worldline.

... more>> So it is recommended to read the other novel of the same author which have the same MC (in name), some of which is the same MC living in different world line or MC on parallel world. Especially the one with VR Game.

It is nice how the plot twists starts in the beginning from thriller to comedy. So even if you are bad with horror it is still recommended cause it is not 100% real horror.

The ending goes to the other novel of the author so it is nice. <<less

All released chapters rn are up to chapter.20 please take this with a grain of salt and read the story first.

When I first started reading this, I really liked it. The games 'rules' weren't stated, so you'd have to crack your head with the MC in order to figure things out.

The MC was chicken with no seasoning, so I couldn't get attached with the story all too much. Though things such as the translation being clear cut has full respect to the translators and editors working on the story.

Then, came the revelation on chapter 14

My face bled through the floorboards in the obscenity of ???? Everything that I previously liked was blown out of the story!

There was no Risk anymore, no fear, no thinking along with the MC. The game had shown it's bare bones early on, and the rest was history. I wanted to bark. Atleast put the revelation near the end of the story? Make the MC realize he was going through countless worlds just for the revelation of.. This??

I'm probably just talking out of my *garbage bin* but I just don't like the story after chapter 14. Maybe it's just not for me.

So therefore,

So first of all, we know that two suspicious people exist. We know that they *probably* want to kill off players, and that the NPC's know them. So, they could only be NPC's.

Thing is, that's not the information I want to highlight. Rather, the NPC's knew the suspicious players were NPC's despite them wearing watches. That's why the Watch is a red herring, and something else must be how an NPC knows a player is a player.

My favorite scene in the story was definitely the

Theatre scene, where the MC's actions were portrayed through the movie. It was like the story was telling a statement. 'We know who you are, what you're doing, and what you are. Just like in the movie, you're a puppet on strings used for entertainment. Headlined because well.. You're the protagonist or whatever.
