The translation good and concept is nice but I hate how pushover the MC and annoying the system.

I think author is trying to make the system as funny but it's just pure annoying.

... more>> The Greatest Estate Builder has better system. Since even though it itsults Lloyd At least it funny cause Llyod can retort to the system and his personality is a bit tr*sh so it's funny.

But here, we got a poor girl who lost her home and job. Then got stuck with a annoying snail system that creates trouble to MC

The MC accidentally hit the Snail which is the system cause she's a pest and it activates her skill.

The Snail then acts as a salty GM and nerf her skills which the MC quick to kneel and apologies like a wimp when she didn't even do anything bad and it was accident. But the system just make her life miserable as pity revenge by destroying her hardwork.

Started reading but damn, the translation is... not great, to put it kindly. I find that Galaxy can be pretty hit-or-miss and this is starting out as a pretty big miss. I was thinking I might still try to read it, because the manhwa is so fun and excellent, but I skipped forward to chapter 43 and saw this line:

"Gradually, her son-in-law grew darker."

Referring to the sun going down or the darkening of the sky. What a f*cking travesty. So, no, the tl does not get better. Good to know.

If... more>> I could retract my star rating I would, but instead I'm putting it at 4, bc it's not the story's fault that the tl is so bad. Just go read the manhwa instead. <<less

This is such a great book, it's a pity about the translation. Do yourself a favor and read the manhwa instead. It's a funny, light read that will entertain you.

There is an A-story and B-story. MC's has a career and lives her life to the fullest thanks to the people who see her potential. I like the world building and her skills as a homemaker.

The B-story is her home life with her brother and Mr. Snail (Poly or FC, Five Colors). Mr. Snail can't leave the premises, so if the MC wanted to make home elsewhere. He can't stop her, and can't help but nag at her to clean at the beginning. He's demanding to balance out MC's reluctance... more>> at the beginning. He's the house administrator or house fairy. The house deteriorates with emotional upheaval and will have occasional 'bugs' or events that will require the homeowners attention.

Interesting concept, sensible characters. There is little conflict and is a slice of life with the urgency of being a hunter setting. Lacking complexity. <<less

I read the entire thing on tapas, unlocking each chapter using my money. Finally I can with clear conscience say my thoughts out loud!

Do I recommend this novel? No!! Go read the webtoon, it's much much better.

... more>> First of all, the art is beautiful. Second of all, Huina's violent outbursts got toned down (at least in the first season, I hadn't started the second season yet.)

What I don't like about this novel? Huina. She's a mary sue. Everyone loves her. There was one side character that was mean to her (he's a tsundere), and everyone hated him because of it. Besides, his arc was completely useless. The point that was made during that arc was quickly shoved under the rug, and that poor chap returned only few times, for instance, in the epilogue, where he was entangled with another two useless to the plot characters.

Huina and her brother, Huiwon were often described as frugal. I definitely couldn't see it, with them buying everything they see at a first glance.

Also, I didn't like how Huina didn't take Jinhyeon's opinion into account. But he never talked back to her. Because she's perfect and always right!

She made him a plushie, just because it was cute in her opinion. But he said to her that he doesn't like plushies! She bought him some weird onesies when he was in his cursed mini version. He was very embarrassed to wear it. Let's not mention the horrible bag she took with her during that outing with him. And last, but not least - our lovely frugal Huina bought him a lot of dog clothes that he didn't like. Just because she wanted to see him wear it. Also, he had to be a dog for 4 or 5 days. Brilliant idea, Huina.

The novel could receive 5 points, if not for that last horrible side story.

We could nicely finish on the birth of their first child, but no, let's go back a few years to the past and finish it with a useless filler story where Jinhyeon had to be a dog for a few days.

Hunters were weirdly depicted too. Like adult children.

Their posts on forum were so funny, but in reality they lacked depth and common sense.

The whole meaning behind the existence of system wasn't explained too. Dungeons and their appearance was, yes, but what about the system? What is it? I have no idea. It just showed itself when dungeons came to be, and supposedly vanished with them, but surprise, it didn't. For example, it was still present during that horrible last side story.

Huina is not the sharpest tool in the shed, despite what other characters say and what the author is saying in this book.

they started dating in 160s or 180s chapter, I can't remember exactly. But pretty late if you ask me. Before that she was as stubborn as a mule and was saying to everyone that she doesn't want Jinhyeon. If it weren't for the system, she would still be single. And Jinhyeon asleep.

To summarize, go read the webtoon. And if you're curious about the novel, tapas has "wait till free". Don't waste money on it like me. <<less

Story is okay, nothing unique about the premise aside from the FL being a non-combatant hunter. Her interactions with hunters at the Guild is refreshing and I wish more series had these kind of moments. Also, I do find the side effects of being a high rank hunter interesting as it affects their mental state/life. Solid casual read with low stakes. The romance does bother me as everyone assumes FL and ML are already dating and never asks to confirm it. So some scenes are irritating.

IMO, the ML is flat... more>> and I find him irritating as he's possessive and jealous of any other males. It's dumb but tolerable. Like a pathetic puppy that you're mildly allergic to.

The main gripe of this review is the translation. You can understand the plot fine, but following conversations is frustrating. Majority of the characters are being given the wrong pronouns that I thought I was losing my mind. FL would be used with he/him/his then it would randomly use her correct pronouns. And I just why. Also main character Names are relatively consistent, but the side character names are inconsistently spelt. Part of me says this is really bad MTL or there wasn't much proofreading done by DarkStar TL. It dampens the experience.

If the translation wasn't riddled with errors that didn't make my eyes bleed somewhat, I would rate it at 4. Do yourself a favor and read the manhwa since it has an official translation. <<less
