Apocalypse descends, and an evil god awakens.

Powerful individuals awaken their abilities in the mutations, striving to resist, but their efforts seem futile.

Just as the superhumans are about to face defeat, time rewinds.

They find themselves reborn, and, united by a common goal, they begin searching for information about the evil god. Finally, they discover a sinister orphanage where the god first appeared.

To their shock, the once formidable evil god turns out to be a pitiable child named Lu Xu with blood-red eyes and snow-white rabbit ears. Lu Xu was treated as a freak by the orphanage director and bullied by other children for his unique appearance.

Despite the hardships, Lu Xu’s eyes still radiate innocence and purity.

One day, a group of strangers appears, seemingly unrelated individuals who turn Lu Xu’s life around. A second-generation heir reforms the orphanage and pledges to adopt him, a renowned actor with sunglasses protects him while enjoying a day at the amus**ent park, a classmate who used to scowl at everyone becomes overly concerned for his well-being, and a peer dubbed the “big brother” takes care of him in every possible way, knitting sweaters and baking cookies.

Lu Xu, under the care and protection of these newfound friends, begins to experience the joys of life, making his days joyful and carefree. He attends school, plays with his best friend Rong Que, and celebrates birthdays together.

Lu Xu fell in love with everyone more and more. For the first time, he felt that the world was so beautiful.

*
One day, Lu Xu forgets to bring his homework home. When he rushes back to get it, he finds a familiar group of people gathered around his best friend Rong Que at their small rental house, discussing a mission to prevent the “blackening” of the little rabbit and save the world.

The first step: Teach him how to love.

Lu Xu, who has been raised to be upright, soft and cute: 0v0?

*
In this world, perhaps no one wants to kill Lu Xu more than Rong Que. However, when he sees the child, battered yet unwilling to harm others, his heart softens.

Those blood-red pupils, always focused and admiring, seem to have a magical allure that makes Rong Que wish for their eternal clarity.

This novel is a nice quick to read but somehow feel like a good plot got thrown away but it's still good.

I can recommend it to people who like cute kids and at the same time also read something about abilities with slice of life. It's mostly slice of life and kids. But don't expect much.

I liked it and enjoyed it so I hope the same for others.

Okay.. So I did not actually read the extras, but I did finish the main part.

The extras seem to be about ... more>>
Spoiler

two chapters, if the MC from before their rebirth was also reborn, and a IF Alternite universe, but already forgot what that would be about

Hm, okay now to the main story (I'll try to keep it short)

It was okay. I liked the beginning, but almost at ch 20, I kind of started skimming more and more. I don't know, it was sweet, but.. sometimes a little unreasonable? Maybe because I just read a novel with a similar concept (rebirth to childhood and then taking care of the partner, to slowly falling in love - I am referring to "Back to 1988") this was then on the more weaker side. I feel like, sometimes, the author was trying to talk about the more heavier topics, but, just didn't work out that well... (idk sorry, I have no examples at the moment).

If you enjoy cute MC adored by (almost?) everyone, always a little pampered, I suppose this is something for you. Also, 65 chapters is more on the shorter side of webnovels. So it is more of a light read, and can probably be finished within a day or two.

I really don't want to be too negative here, as it is the first review for this novel, and I do want people to give it a try! I'm sure that many will take a liking to this and enjoy the read.

But I guess, just some small complaints...:

Spoiler
  • I normally don't care that much. There is always the problem of "mental age gap", since theoretically, the ML is already an adult, while MC was a child etc. and I just don't think too much about it. But it was often mentioned, that ML had awakened some maternal instincts (hahah) when taking care of MC, treasuring him and... Idk, I feel the unreasonable part was him suddenly accepting MCs confession (ofc after MC graduated from university). I feel like, there was barely any developement in feeling on the side of ML, and suddenly he realised he was in love with MC? Idk... but maybe I couldn't really comprehend, because I skimmed A LOT at the end...
  • Tbh, the reuniting of the reborn individuals and MC was the most interesting part, but they only lasted a while and... yeah was over.
  • Hm, I also didn't really like, how MCs personality became? Idk, you would have to read it for yourself, but I feel like he wasn't the cute naive MC anymore, but more rebellious? But in a more annoying way? haha not too much, but Idk I just felt that way...
[collapse]

So... it is not a bad read, everyone should give it a try!

Personally though, I would probaly rate it 3/5 stars <<less
