• • MC was the most unlikable character in this story. She refused to be treated as a child but she always acted like one. She loved throwing tantrum whether silently or emotionally. She also always thought the worst of other people. First, it was Bowen. She was angry at him for leaving her for England. She didn't try to understand his reason for leaving and stubbornly refused to reach for him first. When she knew his real reason, she momentarily had a breakdown but that was it. Even after Bowen's death, her reaction was quite bland. She even moved on rather fast. Not gonna blame her for it though, everybody had the right to be happy but what made me angry with her was she repeated her mistake towards Bowen with her new fling, Ling Xia. She was the one who chased after Ling Xia but she was also the one who backed out first just because she suspected that he only got close to her to get a connection with his uncle. Without trying to know the truth, she one-sidedly cut the contact with Ling Xia. Fortunately, Ling Xia seemed to not like her that much so he wasn't that heartbroken. And guess what, it was all MC's own thinking about Ling Xia trying to get close to her uncle. It's so laughable.

• • MC's mom very similar to MC. Maybe MC inherited her character from her mother. MC's mom always thought the worst of MC. She always believed that MC wasn't good enough. She even looked down on her own husband just because he didn't get much from his work and made that the reason for her to shamelessly take her brother's money.

• • Yu Feng was Bowen's best friend and also MC best friend's (Ye Xixi) boyfriend. He always acted ambiguously towards MC but at the same time, he kept dating Ye Xixi. What a sc*m.

After cutting her connection with Ling Xia, MC was admitted to university in Shanghai. Coincidentally, Yu Feng was also going there while Ye Xixi went to another town.

MC finally knew the truth about Ling Xia but she didn't try to find him or anything. She only went to buy his CD and that's it.

Well, I'm quite happy that MC didn't end up with Ling Xia because he deserved better. I wasn't even going to be surprise if MC ended up with Yu Feng since they're in the same university while Ye Xixi was far away.
