Growe grew up in a noble family with draconic bloodline and was taught not to trust anyone easily or he will die from attemped mu*ders/assassinations, and he first thought of MC as some sort of trap by the enemies bc MC is just his type LMAOOO. He always misunderstood MC's actions and was very cautious of him in early chapters due to the fact he was already cursed by his enemies but as the story progresses he learns to love and trust MC but still fumbles so badly with the misunderstandings. He sees something bad that is low-key related to the MC and then comes up with ideas that MC might be playing with him but in reality MC is just happy bc he thinks Growe genuinely trusts him 💔 It's really refreshing to see more ML's with flaws like Growe, he's not just some typically cold and rude ML but he has emotions and reasons that makes you realize his actions makes sense, and the matter of fact, he's GREEN 💚

Ennid grew up with a rough childhood and graduated as a commoner Alchemist who barely gained any recognition from the Academy he came from. He has debts since commoners aren't really accepted in noble and high society so he tries his best to make a living, he barely had anyone to trust so when ML appeared out of nowhere he was hesitant bc he ALSO misunderstood ML as some sort of bad guy (mutual misunderstanding am I right), but what I love about Ennid is that he's not just any pathetic and weak MC, he's calculative and smart— unlike the ML who is stronger than him, he relies more in his brains than brawns which saves him and the ML a few times
