Since this wonderful story is missing a summary, and until someone uploads one, I wanted to leave my small contribution so that no one else misses the chance to read this novel.

Wow. What an adventure. I really liked it !

Be aware that this is a sort of dark romance, but as the chapters go on, the relationship slowly grows less toxic and more genuine, making the story all the more captivating.

... more>> It’s about a reclusive and kind prince (a total tsundere) whom everyone ignores, and a heroic but cold duke (definitely a kuudere). They’re completely different, yet absolutely amazing together.

The novel focuses mainly on the romance, but the plot is solid too, with just enough action to keep you constantly engaged.

Some side characters, such as Hexa and Evelyn, are well written, though the main focus remains on the leads, which honestly isn’t a problem at all.

The length is perfect as well: the chapters are quite long, so the story feels properly developed.

At first, you might, as I did, despise the MC for being naive and foolish, and hate the ML for his arrogance and, quite frankly, his cruel words and actions toward him.

But as the story progresses, you can’t help but be drawn in by them, by their love-hate dynamic, by their pain, and by the way you start to understand them both more deeply.

The MC, who at first seems naive or foolish, turns out to be deeply kind and smart, just too traumatized and constantly undermined by those who never saw his true worth.

And the ML, while some of his actions remain unforgivable (

), is also someone who was sent to the battlefield at twelve, never knew love, and only wanted to protect his family and people.

This is the first time I’ve encountered a nameverse novel, and it’s a good one with an interesting lore around it. I like the relationship between the two leads and enjoy their banter. The smut is great, except for

I’m also not the biggest fan of

the top chaining the bottom when the bottom tried to leave him after their misunderstanding. I’m not against confinement tropes lol, but it was so halfhearted and somewhat unnecessary in my opinion, especially in this story.

Later on we find out that

the top has had feelings for the bottom from when they were young, but the bottom forgot all about the top and their childhood connection and promises so the top got a little vindictive about it, which is why he never defended him even though he was suffering. Not the biggest fan of the childhood connection trope when it comes out of nowhere, but here, it’s actually foreshadowed and makes sense.

Overall very enjoyable and quite short, not a lot of frustrating parts. The translation is very inconsistent with the names of some characters and locations, but it’s pretty good. <<less

One of the most heart warming and intriguing story I’ve read. Now many would think this was kinda normal trope but the characters both the MC (Liern) and ML (Cassian), were so strong and capable that’s hard to find in most go stories.

I’m not a fan when the authors make the MC strong willed initially but by the end he becomes someone completely dependent on the ML. This story maintained the strong will of the MC throughout.

I really liked that the author did not stretch the stories with misunderstandings which made the story short but really engaging. Both confessed their feelings for each other as they realised them.

The background characters were also developed well, not to in-depth but just enough.

The second prince Bakie a.k.a the villain, I really abhorred him, especially him killing his own infant child that really surpassed all human limits of tolerance. He had no remorse whatsoever till the end and I’m glad he was not killed by execution that would be a penal death for him

All said and done the story was amazing. Thank you translator, the translation were really good just had one thing I’d like to point out that Kiriya was mentioned as a girl initially but afterwards in the following chapters she was being mentioned as he. But anyway thank you for translating such a good story <<less

I would agree with some of the others saying the main focus of the story is romance and honestly that was something I wasn’t too too fond of. The majority of the interactions are truly the MC and ML, and a few side characters here and there. Due to this I felt like the side characters really weren’t fleshed out. I was also a little disappointed that the story never dived into certain childhood points that the MC kept mentioning ... more>>

idk, I guess I just assumed there would be a point where this all came to light and we would see more of the impact of this versus just being told this and that he’s physically weak as a result. Overall, it’s a quick and easy read. <<less

I came here because of the cover art. It’s stunning! But the story didn’t disappoint either. It’s well written. I really love the development of the main characters. Both as individuals but also how their love blossoms.

The MC is a forgotten prince. He is neglected by his enperor father. And ab*sed by his half brother the 2nd prince.

... more>> The ML is the duke of a powerful family. He is a war hero. ML is super OP. I love how snarky he is.

The way destiny and God brought them together with a one sided name is an unique but intriguing concept. You should really read the story to understand the concept.

As the novel progresses you’ll understand why the Duke is acting the way he is.

The 2nd prince has many names, I think its a translation error? Valky, Vallie, Vakkie, Bakkie, Barkie, Barky, Barkhie. It can be confusing at first, but I guess you’ll get used to it. <<less
