SOME SPOILERS AHEAD

The beginning of the story sets the stage immediately, this love story starts with a drunken one night stand that ends where the ML realizes the morning after the the MC is actually underage (*17 years age gap* curveball... yikes!). In addition the ML realizes that the MC is the recently adopted son of a good friend of his... I mentioned the age gap because this might be a turn off all together for some and if it's not your thing you won't be able to get into... more>> the story.

Personally I admit I do have some mixed feelings here as the MC is a high schooler the entire novel dating a young Surgeon that's essentially old enough to be his dad. It's mentioned several times that the ML has a kink for the MC calling him dad during s*x and he gets especially hot for the MC when he's in his school uniform. It actually surprised me that the smut was not described in more detail as the stage was certainly set for it.

The story has light angst in it but overall it was a good read with a happy ending... I wouldn't consider this a polished solid story as there were some items that I would've liked more detail about. The extras after the main story is usually where I'm looking for details that maybe wouldn't have fallen into the main story. It would have been nice if one of the extra stories would've included the wedding that was mentioned and definitely eluded to have eventually happened in the novel, as well as an extra story be about them when they're much older is one of the overarching themes in the novel is love transcending age. However it's still a great short read. <<less

I really dont know how to write a review but, all I can say is that this one is actually good and I really don’t know why it has such a low rating.

This novel rocks! The characters are very realistic. Their thoughts, insecurities, and their feelings are all relatable. There is a little angst, but it contributed to the characters’ growth.

Okay, I actually have mixed feelings regarding this novel.

Age-wise... even though the novel mentions that the shou is an adult, but he's still in high school? It's kinda bugging me, but hey, if the author says he's an adult, what can I say?

Overall, the story is quite entertaining and fun to read (if you're into age gap and sugar daddy vibes).
