this story is an interesting twist to the usual regression story. Instead of the regression happening right at the beginning, the past is told in great details. The regression only happens 1/3 in the story, so it made me attached to all the characters, including the villainess (who isn't just evil from the start) and the first husband. Also usually in regression stories, FLs go back to time when they've been betrayed and lost everything but in this story, the FL goes back in time when she's achieved all her goals and finally reached her happy ending. And the villainess is the one who turns back time, which makes it interesting because her role is usually the main character role in other stories. The FL tries to repeat the same things but everything goes wrong and ends up not being able to marry her husband in her past life this time around.

The story might seem a bit similar to the remarried empress when you read the summary (also because it's from the same author), but it's actually really different. The story is even messier because not only are the FL and villainess aunt and niece but the two MLs are also best friends lmao. Anyways, the story is centered around the love/hate relationship between the FL and villainess and the love triangle between FL's husband in her past life and her first love, who was the villainess' husband in her first life, which also gets even messier when the past life husband starts appearing in this world... also unlike TRE, the focus of the romance here is with the first husband who's actually perfect and the 2nd husband who's the regretful one lol.

It's best to not expect any revenge in this story because even the villainess gets some growth and sorta redeems herself at the end. The love triangle also ends so satisfyingly imo so I had no complaints at the end.

Compared to the author's previous works, I think this one has a smaller worldview and more simple plot, but the ending was so beautiful it made me accept all its flaws.
