The creator of the game known as the Hourglass Project calls himself “Father.” Without warning, he brings all of humanity into his twisted game, launching a series of mad, godlike actions.

Humans become players. After undergoing forced information implants, their minds are reduced to a single thought: Survive. Grow stronger.

Among the five main characters, Li Moyao was born to be a “cheat” a walking glitch in the system. She leads the other four, each of whom eventually gains cheat-like powers, pushing forward with one ultimate goal.

Fight for humanity. Fight for Earth.

As players around the world climb the brutal ladder of advancement, shedding blood, making sacrifices, and trading innocence for cunning, a voice deep inside still screams out in defiance. Hatred, madness, and unyielding will intertwine as humanity builds a river of survival with flesh and bone, birthing an unshakable faith.
