So far, I'm absolutely loving this story. This is gonna be another gem added to my reading list. I'm really glad the MC isn't a modern korean in her previous life like some other web novels out there. (I'm really getting tired of that plot) Similar to what the summary said, she time-travelled to her past 10 times now.

The ML is a wolf, and in the MC's first life, the ML ends up killing the MC because he needed the MC's heart to heal the heroine's illness. (Heroine can only be cured by having the heart of the Grand Witch, aka MC)

MC proceeds to kill the ML in her second life, but in the end she failed and was killed by the ML again. Things happened and by her fifth life, she realized that she was living in a broken world, where things happen over and over again. By her tenth life, all she wanted was to rest in peace. So, realizing that killing the ML and all the other clans present in the story won't do, she resorts to raise the child ML so that he won't kill her in the future, and through that, maybe she can finally rest permanently without her life repeating.

Though the story might seem dark based on what I've summarized so far, it's actually a light-hearted read with plenty of cuteness and adorable descriptions of the puppy ML. (Literally a puppy, ML still can't change to human form because he's malnourished)

ML is quite feisty as a child because he often attacks the MC, and I'm really loving their interactions, because it's a lot more realistic than if he loved the MC from the start. I'm waiting to see when our cute ML falls in love with the MC and becomes a black-bellied adult (like in the prologue hehe)

On another note, I don't understand how this story gets a rating below 4 when there's only 16 chapters, this definitely deserves a rating of 4.5 or above based on its plot. If you like the story, please consider giving this a 5 star rating so that we can encourage translator-nim! As always, thank you translator-nim! I'm gonna camp here for more chapters.

me being in love with this novel is an absolute understatement istg this novels plot has me rereading it every few days??? The translation is like a cherry on top its truly refreshing reading your translated work and I strongly look forward for more. I also ST RO NG L Y recommend the works translated by this team including this novel too !!

It's a cute story of raising a crazy wolf but tbh, FL's character setup is a bit weak

She's hailed as the wise Great Witch, but sometimes she makes incredibly dumb moves. Like an amateur witch who hasn't figured out how to use her powers conveniently. Her spells are basic, her sense of danger is dismal and her Chera does a better job at raising and training. I really love this novel, please don’t drop it 😭. I have really waited for the translators to update regularly and I’m glad they are updating it regularly now. Thank you so much!

Anyway, if you are second guessing this novel then I suggest to just read it! You won’t be disappointed. Although the novel starts when the ML is a kid and the story is a bit slow, their are a lot of interesting characters that make up for it. The storyline is really refreshing and interesting too!

By chapter 162, there's still no snu-snu scenes. Just a few kisses here and there. A lot of emotional angst with no results to show for it, cuz MC apparently incapable of sensuality. Considering the title of the story, that's way too tame. Boring!~ Also, I thought the love polygon was irritating and unfulfilling. It felt forced, especially for the bat dude. He had no real reason to be so obsessed. It would have been better plot wise and logic wise if MC and bat dude had maintained a platonic... more>> alliance relationship on account of her saving him. By all accounts, it did not make sense why his beloved family never came to visit.

The writing / translation also s**ked, lowkey. I've found this to often be the case with Korean webnovels. The settings are so scant. The dialogues are confusing and don't clearly point out which character said what. Everybody speaks in nine circles of ambiguity and take so long to get to the point. POV is not respected, and author just sort of jumps everywhere. The story also often randomly jumps scenes without ANY warning to readers, cutting off a scene or arc mid-development and jumping right to undefined amount of time in the future. Like one minute, two characters are on continent one engaging in a tense and dramatic moment, then next, they are in continent two with all the other side characters having a showdown, and readers are left to guess what transpired in the first scene to lead to the showdown. Used sparingly, this could be a powerful tool in an author's arsenal, but used as frequently as it was in this novel, it comes off like a cheap parlor trick for the author to avoid actually properly developing each story beat. I found it really disorienting as a reader and kept wondering if the translators left out text from the original. Treatment of characters also felt lacking. O.G. FL and her story was real rushed, and it did not resonate as much as it could have. I found it rather rushed how ML went from antagonistic wolf cub to obsessed with MC wolf cub. It just was not believable for me. <<less

I randomly picked up this story to read based off the comments I had seen. But I guess I picked up the story a little late because the current translations kind of don’t seem to do the story justice. Like I appreciate the translations but theres alot of moments where the story has alot of charater clicking their tongues (Uhm okay) 😳. And the female lead kind of isnt all that relatable/interesting. Idk what it is but im just reading to get to end to see if she even has... more>> any character development.

You know whos really interesting in this story. I kid you not is the ML. His role in this what is keeping me wanting more. Like finally a ML who went CRAZY in her past life and is still Crazy even with “HER APPARENT WAY OF TRAINING HIM” Give him a happy ending.
