This was such a good short read for me. The story revolves between two people who once met in their younger years and had a one-night stand and years after, had their 2nd chance at love.

FL just turned 18 and was going through her roughest time (rejected by her first love, passed the college entrance exams but her divorced parents are not there for her). ML saw her being soaked in the rain and offered to send her home but instead FL said it's her birthday and went to ML's... more>> place as she felt there was nowhere else that she belongs. They somehow slept together and then FL disappears the next day, leaving the lovestruck ML heartbroken. Fast forward to 10 years after, FL is already an accomplished woman with her own travel agency while ML has become a famous lawyer. They met again, the attraction that was already there before was once again reignited, with FL's tenacity to get together with ML and ML's love for her never gone. They literally were meant for each other despite of all the setbacks, their paths still crossed. Having a 2nd chance, they did not waste their time and got together, dated (insert multiple smut scenes lol) and got married within less than a year! I really felt the message here that "if it's really meant for you, no matter what happens, it will always find its way to you." We should never lose hope folks 😆
