Gu Wen Jing is a good actor by nature and has a pair of golden eyes that can see through acting skills.

When he encounters a green tea who is ‘pretending’ to be someone else, he can’t help but expose their true colours.

Hence the nickname: Green Tea Specialist!

After a lifetime of living peacefully, Gu Wen Jing, a Green Tea Specialist, has his soul bound by the ‘Male Host Shining Eye System’ that has been targeting him for a long time, so he has to travel to various worlds to be a normal male host who is not captivated by a green tea.

The ML is a scum and the author loves to spam out these horribly short arcs with no meaning.

Where the novel becomes absolute tr*sh is Chapter 137 aka the end of arc 15 and this is also the point where the Author throws away the title of the novel [Green Tea specialist] to replace it with [Arrogant Bored Cultivating Male God]

MC turns out to just be fusing other him-selves, and loses his cheat to see the entire plot. Not that he cared about the plot earlier. But the author was at least toe-ing the semblance. Now MC just gets a plot summary at the end after bailing.

MC continually just does arc stuff then leaves with no resolution, super rushed and pointless endings, and beyond useless arcs.

There's honestly no charisma in the MC and he begins to just play around in the worlds and cultivate

The novel has minimal romance, MC acts out of character so hard until he decides to be an arrogant hypocritical self-righteous troll and just mess with whoever is a crosser or has a golden finger or any cheat. All fights have deviated from face-slap to simple face tank (where the MC can tank any attack yet the author writes "it was an intense battle where he could have died!" As if that would somehow make it good.

The first 3 arcs are barely passable at best and it gets worse the longer it goes.

The novel is quite literally channeling all the bad arcs of [The Best Male God] and most female crossing novels, with the Mc: not even having to deal with any villain, being superior to all humanity, and all failings are simply due to emotions of the Original Him who was there before he crossed into the body.

In most of the arcs, the MC simply does stuff and then everything works out.

In arc 6 MC is a kid in the Apocalypse with lightning powers. He then.... uses those lightning powers. The end. There's no drama, but the villains eat the screen time at the start and then get a mention at the end. No crisis ever, basically no face slap. Some other scumbags harm the original villain and that's it.... Arcs like these continue to multiply with MC doing nothing new and everything is perfect.

Arcs suddenly begin to become summaries and you even wonder why this novel was written.

Oh and don't forget the haphazard shoe-horned in crummy plot and continual mocking of other plots lol. This isn't bad, but the author is just lazily grabbing other stories at this point. Unfortunately... these stories are vastly superior to the drivel added here.

There's evil red packet group, evil superstar system, evil rebirth system etc. All systems are greedy luck stealers while MC is the one true good guy since his system is just a random artifact he picked up and therefore he is perfect! Oh and Mc's greatest enemy is the time and space temple who are basically the infinite genre people.

The ending is incredibly s*upid and makes you wonder why you even finished the novel with MC just taking over.

MC is no green tea specialist.

No, he's just an arrogant male protagonist with god-like powers wasting his time on business.

He soon starts to want to be other people though, stealing other individual's cheats for himself!

Be it a plane trading system, laws of gods, or secret spring jade, MC will steal it and use it later!

And you'd think he would use it for gaining power or stuff but no.

MC just mostly uses the spring to eat food.

tr*sh Novel, and the worst Male Protagonist QT out there currently even worse than the likes of [I Am a Dragon].

-300, 000/10.

don't read or support novels like these that give off bad copy paste vibes or pointless story >_>

MC is eldest son of the Emperor of Heaven. We get an entire arc of -MC is cultivating- and have to listen to the oh so horrible activities of the spoiled emperor's daughter. This arc is a good summary of the author's failings.

As the translator of the novel the truth is that I find the novel quite a slice of life instead of you know, an actual QT. Even so it's a fun read if you just wanna pass the time.

One of novel male protagonist that I liked. Kind of novel where the MC (ML) change ML 's fate where they always fall into the scheming FL or ppl. Not yaoi, straight to point, no nonsense, realistic and worth to read. Thank you

So I read this novel, initially it was a little boring later on the arcs get better

Usually MC doesn't fall in love in worlds and if he has a wife or gf he'll treat her with respect

The best part is faceslapping the green tea

... more>> As it is described the MC can see through the green tea and take necessary steps and treat his family well

Frankly the MC is calm works hard takes his task seriously but if you are here for romance its a no no

Not much basically

Arcs are short

Good to read and continue whenever you feel like it

I would have given it 4 stars it's not that great but because the review are a little bad the rating is way too low.

I really dislike how the MC treats his wife, already from the first chapter. It’s like he doesn’t even try to understand her feelings. The way he deals with the green tea is super bland. He doesn’t even try to expose the green tea.

ps. Pls keep in mind that I’ve only half read the first arc. If I get in the mood to continue, I’ll re-rate when my feelings change.

Do not get fooled by the title.

MC does not actually expose green tea bit*h or do any face slapping but indulges the petty schemes on the contrary. All in the name of giving face to biological mother of the ori host.

Writer keeps on dragging the story with no meaningful plot line. Green tea bit*h has no real role or any other characters as the matter of fact.

This is the most boring QT novel I have ever come across. Feels like I wasted few hrs of my life just to check... more>> how MC deals with green tea b*tch.

I would give 0 stars of that was an option <<less

I really like this kindo of QT. The ones where MC (male or female) view love as part of life and isn't too obsessed with it.

Sure, the ones with an eternal lover that follows them through the worlds is very romantic and I do like it at times... but those MCs have a heavy tendency to overdepend on their s.o. and it gets kinda boring.

Back to this novel... I kinda understand some low ratings... but you guys need to understand the concept of transcendence and growth... the stronger he becomes... more>> the less he cares about the things he considers small... so I get him having the mentality of let's see what kind of show this clown is preparing instead of just solving them fast...

I also like that theres long and short arcs and even the long ones are short enough to not let you get bored of that world... to those like me who got dead tired of those long a§ novels with 2 to 4k chaps it's very fresh... <<less

Emmm... This novel 100% fails it's title. There were a few green teas in the first few arc, which was fun, and then no more green tea, just ML being OP af. So OP that even if he doesn't give a sh*t about those villains, they can doom themselves just from his passive aura.

This also fails as a QT. The shortest arc was 1 chapter! Can you believe it?!! And after ML becomes OP, he just goes into a world, sees if there's anything interesting, if not, he just ignores... more>> everyone, "comprehends the world's laws", and leaves!! He is just way too OP to care about measly mortals! So many good arcs were wasted cause he found everything unimportant...

The romance is as small as a grain of rice in a bucket full of wheat. ML never ever falls for anybody. His motto is — "If there's already a wife or a lover of the original owner, I will be responsible and give her a happy life. But if there's not, I will ignore every women around me and study my oh~so~important laws." I am honestly not against it. I think it's quite reasonable. But I hate that after things starts getting better with the FLs and I get interested, author just gives us a paragraph of "Then they get married and happy ending. On to the next atc~!" Like, tf do u mean?? I need a break from ML cultivating for eternity cuz his cultivation is boring af! I am here to read a novel, not his cultivating epiphany which sounds like a philosophical book about zen and worlds and self and shit!

The only good thing about this book is the plot of why he is doing QT. It was very interesting. Honestly, that is the main plot rather than the arcs. Arcs don't matter at all. Even during arc chapters, ML ignores everyone and just talks about his cultivation with the system! Or cultivates! We get 2 lines of arc and then 2 paragraph of cultivation BS!! I think just reducing all the unnecessary cultivation BS will reduce at least 100 chapters of this novel.

Overall, it's not horrible or bad but it fails it's title and genre. So all the people who comes interested by these things will feel this novel is boring af. They should name this "OP ML's journey to the universe" or "OP ML's lengthy cultivation journey" or "I have the OP-est golden finger/skills in the universe".

It's not that bad in particular, but man was I bored?! Yes, very much. Too OP is not interesting sometimes. <<less

I'm enjoying this much more than expected! The worlds are interesting and I find the whole ~not being entangled with the same person in every world~ concept very refreshing. Most of the worlds are 1v1, harem whenever MC's an emperor and no romance whenever he's a forever kid/animal.

The worlds have a pattern of alternating between ancient and modern so far. I've lost track of which number of arc I'm at since they're pretty short and plentiful. MC is very dull in emotions. He does not fall in love with his... more>> wife or drown himself in familial love in every world but he respects and does his duty as a husband/father perfectly. He does, after all, have the male lead halo! His adventures are pretty seamless and smooth. It feels like a slice of life. (Or many lives/worlds in MC's case xD)

It's a quick and easy read, might be slightly addicting if you're up for a binge session!ꉂ (ˊᗜˋ*) <<less

It was a pretty decent read to me. I like how there is not a lot of romance and the the MC just does what he has to and leaves. Like for some reason I prefer novels with male protagonists to not have romance. I did skip around a little bit and there were certain aspects that I didn't like, but overall it was decent.

At the time when I started the novel I was attracted by the face slapping of green tea but pretty quickly the story changed to a cultivation speed run which is its own kind of novel. This led to a pretty crucial issue of the novel: not delivering on its promises either the faceslapping or the cultivation aspect as the identity of the MC makes all matter run without much effort and are only epiphanies after epiphanies.

As one other reader mentioned it turns into a kind of slice-of-life novel in... more>> a QT standard environnement. Not the best read for me especially in MTL which has made grammar foreign to the text but it still is a decent one if you like to read QT. You might also just focus on the first arcs if that’s what you like and a bonus for me: no ABO world <<less

The MC Knew HOW to recognize a green tea but dont know how to deal with them, honestly I dont think he knows how to deal with woman at all. The story often gets side tracked with useless chapters all over the place, no satisfying green tea face slapping as of yet.
