Highly recommend.

There's a lot of recycling in this novel. Reincarnation, regression, duke's son, family feud, monsters. But it is well executed and it's beauty lies in it's unpredictability. You are constantly kept on edge and it's engaging.

Intriguing read - The MC is strong but not OP, but he is quite smart and uses his experience and intellect to overcome difficulties rather than through brute strength. The chapters are of generous length and quite filling to read.

Its a bit early but I am quite interested in how it all turns out - especially since 2 groups are competing for chapters. Good start. 9.3/10

Powerbullshitting is very little, if anything it is also one of political tool MC has to maneuver.

Each antagonists has a bit of interesting taste to them, even if we know the MC will prevail, when antagonists aren't just dumb corrupted noble it has better taste to read. Even if their downfall are quite simple and can be predictable at a time, I find how the writing explained the sequence of events and reason of these antagonists good enough to left satisfaction. They fight to tooth and nail.

Each characters surrounding him has importance to MC hand and leg availability. Not everyone will grovel to him as each also has their own agenda and MC is no pushover.

He might gain something but everything also 'has a catch' for him to handle later on.

You won't find plot like MC's kindness and benevolent make everyone want to follow him here.

Constantly shifting in political scene will left you on edges. One story just come to him, he just ordered something only for situation to already escalate behind scene. There is lag of information transfer which is a nice small addition considered the settings but I find him handle them good enough.

If you want to read a nice and not too hard politics novel with a mix bit of powerfantasy. This isn't so bad. The writing explained logics behind it good enough for a nice read.

While I said powerfantasy, each individual power also as much of a one pawn in bigger picture. There's no one-man army or something like that.
