Let’s All Find Happiness Together

Buddhism is the pursuit of happiness.

A dungeon suddenly appeared in the cemetery of Gokuraku Temple, located in Kujukuri, Chiba Prefecture.

The temple’s son, college student Sakaba Mamoru, discovers it and enters alongside his father, the head priest, to investigate.

Inside, they encounter skeletal monsters known as Skeletons.

Mamoru acquires a mysterious skill called “Buddha’s Embrace”, and uses it to drive the Skeletons back.

About ten years earlier, dungeons had suddenly begun appearing all across the world. Monsters infested these dungeons, rapidly multiplying and overflowing outside, causing tremendous damage to nearby communities.

Humans who entered dungeons began awakening abilities known as Skills, and used those powers to fight the monsters. Such people came to be known as Hunters.

By law, dungeons must be managed by the owner of the land they appear on, so Gokuraku Temple chooses to take responsibility for managing theirs in order to avoid causing trouble for the surrounding area.

Along the way, Mamoru attends training courses to become a Hunter, where he catches the attention of two guild receptionists who start forcing their way into his life. Between that and several near-death experiences, he somehow manages to keep the dungeon under control.

The dungeon formed in the cemetery is known as a Graveyard Dungeon — the final destination of monsters.

There are so many monsters that levels rise quickly, but the skills learned are all strangely related to the temple.

Mamoru realizes there’s no way he can handle it alone and considers getting help, but the people who come to the temple all carry their own problems… and some of them aren’t even human.

“I have to do something about this…”

Every time trouble arises, Mamoru struggles desperately while thinking exactly that.

This is a story about everyone trying to find happiness together, despite all the complications… or at least, that’s the plan.
