Novels that have, unfortunately or fortunately, made me cry reading them.... more>>
The pattern you'll find is family/found family or death, whether by experience or through conversations. Conflicts related to family or things such as disappointment, rejection, or an overall heartfelt/heart wrenching topic is included. Deaths that happened because of how tragic it is, how unfair i perceived it to be, or the general situation of it is included.
I'll attempt to put stories including (albeit uncommon) romance near the bottom since its usually a gamble if its found family. i can also cry to romances, mb that theres some BL... Ill try to find sad GL novels okay?
There are novels that don't necessarily follow the above and are most related things like mental health or anguish. So they wont necessarily be found family/friendship in a way even if they have elements of it. I can't exactly quantity everything that makes me cry okay?
There are also novels that are below 4 stars. I actually do sift out novels that have made me cry but arent actually that incredible of a story. So this list plays as both a catalogue of what made me cry and a catalogue of what I found is recommendable. (Literally all the novels that i wrote more than a paragraph on cause im trying to convince ppl to read it)
My shame(?) list
Honorable mention: Children of the Holy Emperor (i love the story but no tears have come yet :( )
