He also try to avoid from betraying her by trusting her “as a friend” .However, the numerous of unconscious and intimate skinship gradually makes him aware of her as the opposite s*x.

Its a sweet story. Although I'm not sure where it's going at the moment, I think its just a cute and fluffy story. Though the MC seems to be a regular semi-dense MC, not enough translated chapters for me to judge on that yet. FMC is cute tho.

I really enjoyed this novel. It was refreshing and the FMC is extremely cute. The MC isn't that dense and doesn't instantly fall in love with her so I enjoyed the pacing on the novel overall. Furthermore, this novel is stacked with fluffy romance and just brings a smile to my face.

Not good. Is about how I would sum this up. Your typical japanese male protagonist that feels the need to apologize about three times per sentence (I am not even really exaggerating that much) blaming himself for something he has absolutely no control over namely situations that would never ever happen in real life. If you want to create situations like that in your novel don't situate said novel in our real world give it a setting where said situations would make sense. That's all I am saying. The girl... more>> felt... like someone I wouldn't want to hang out with personally maybe I am just really really not the target audience but I don't think this is in any way diabetes incarnate or even something that would invoke any sort of positive emotions from me. Just annoying. I don't even care about how the first "drama" gets resolved. Because there is simply nothing any of the characters can say or do to redeem it in my eyes. Can't really recommend this novel. Translation is good. <<less

Pure diabetes incarnate. There is a teeny bit of drama inserted here and there, but all of it serves a purpose instead of being there just for the sake of it, and you end up with even more fluff as a result.

Overall a pleasant read with enjoyable characters all around.

This is the first novel I read in 2026, and I’m starting to write reviews for the novels I read this year.

Actually, this novel has been on my bookmark list for a long time, but I only started reading it seriously recently.

I really love the storyline. The ML and FL meet and develop a natural relationship, and their character development is handled quite well. The supporting characters also actively contribute to the story.

The ending is executed very well, even though this novel almost got dropped in Volume 2 (I would... more>> have cried if that had happened thank you, Author!).

I’m completely satisfied with all three volumes. Definitely a 5/5 from me. <<less

It's alright. The story is predictable but sweet and fulfilling. The first and second volume have slow pacing and there was a lot of story telling, it's evident that the author had plans for a longer story, too bad it got axed though, but at least we have closure. The third and last volume was a torrent of rushed development, can't complain much when there's only 1 book he had to work with. (I want to read more about Yui and Yuuma daily school life)

It's just my opinion (and... more>> rant) but it seems like these days original light novel debuts don't do well either because of unknown extenuating circumstances (unknown to us) or because of poor reach and low readership, I know of a couple novels that got axed early before despite being a good read. In that sense, web novel has an advantage of established fan base already so it's pretty much guaranteed sales. <<less

If you have diabetes, just don't read it. It's basically a lot of cute developments and fluffy situations. The MC isn't too dense and the FMC is too cute. It definitely worth the read if you're into "no-big-drama" stuff.

There was just one thing that made me upset, and that's why it isn't a 5-star review.

I just hate when the author creates a setup, and then blows it up. In this situation specifically, the FMC wants to make the MC confess to her, and she makes that clear in her POV. However, when the guy is about to do it, she interrupts him, and now she wants herself to confess, but not at that time, so the story drags itself for some more chapters.

It could have been so much more, but yeah it was on the verge of getting cancelled at v2 so atleast it got a "proper" ending. Its sweet and I see the potential but thats just how it is sometimes... worth a read if you don't have anything better to read.

I'm giving it a 5 star rating for the proper ending.

It starts with a generic premise to the point that even the MC's sister predicted it. However, it was executed much better than many other novels with a similar premise. The story ended with vol 3 but would've probably run much longer if it wasn't axed considering the difference in pacing between the first two volumes and the third.

The first two volumes have a proper pacing. We get a lot of fluff along with a fleshed-out story. If it had... more>> continued, it might've ended up being one of the best fluffy novels.

Coming to the characters,

The ML is a typical Japanese high schooler. He's like Rusian from NetoYome but probably more social irl.

FL is the petite white-haired girl who was sick in the hospital and bullied for her hair when she wasn't sick, ending up as a shut-in.

There are a total of three named side characters (two of their classmates and ML's sister). We might've probably seen more of them if the story continued.

PS: If I had a penny for every time a LN girl used the name "Schwein" without knowing what it means, I'd have two, which is not much but it's funny that it happened twice. <<less
