Will she succumb to the “force of the scenario” that took away her beloved mother? Not a chance! Rebecca enrolls in the academy, the stage of the game, armed with her mother’s “capture guide,” and strives to avoid the impending destruction. But…!? It’s a love fantasy where a villainess with a capture guide tries to prevent her own ruin!

It's just 3 chapters, but it's off to a great start!! The MC did bring up a really good point that I have always wondered. The older brothers (who are targets) of the villainesses who gets condemn and their family falls as a result. Do those people ever thought that that is something the brought to themselves?

Great start but the FL's Character Development seems to dwindled as the chapters go. She was introduced as a strong independent lady but when sht hits the fan, she is always a damsel in distress and needed to be save.

I love that the FL also looks into the reality and not just base on the strategy guide her mother wrote. I love the women's friendship.

They all help to excel each other. The Phantom beast storyline was not develop they became characters that where there and used but not developed.... more>> It would be nice if Christina was greatly used by the FL but she was introduced greatly and was put to the back as quickly too.

The plot twist was not twisting to me hahaha. It was unpredictable, atleast for me, but for some reason, it lacks the 'wow' factor and not that good at all.

Overall, it is still a good read. I easily cried at the sad moments, and get butterflies when the crown prince and FL flirt. I just hope it was written better. <<less

I stopped reading after chapter 27; it's just not stellar writing.

+1 star for the premise, +1 for the translation, and +1 for the translator's patience.

This story is all over the place, both plot-wise and like.... when the character's actually travel.

It falls victim to summarizing most of whatever's happening and exposition dumping. The plot is so slow, but it's all happening at break neck speed if that makes sense. Absolutely everything AND nothing are happening at the same time.

Also, my biggest pet peeve is the confession scene:

Spoiler

Rebecca and her fiancé (I can't even bother to remember his name) don't have a very believable relationship; it feels inorganic and especially forced on Rebecca's end.

1) When she realized she "loves" him, all her pseudo flashbacks are all so... bland and few and... dare I say shallow? In any case, it ain't worth any actual heartbreak considering how well she grew up in comparison to game-Rebecca. (Girly, you went on like two dates; it ain't that deep)

2) Her fiancé says he had watched her since childhood, but like... how? I suspected magic at first, but he said he "poked a hole into the window" to watch her. This is a European fantasy world; the windows are not rice paper. Furthermore, he is the crown prince who was studying at the time, and Rebecca never went to visit him, so what "window" was he looking through??

[collapse]

If you can get through it, bravo, but this just ain't it for me.... <<less
