Story had a very good concept.

Though, the author should have been more confident or committed to the result. The ending could have been interesting and impactful had the story been built up more slowly and with more details.

The author wrote that readers might think his ending lacking because there wasn't any dramatic/unrealistic resolution, but I think it would have still had significant impact if it hadn't been so rushed.

It was interesting but the wrap-up & the ending ruined it. The author wanted it to be more mysterious but the length of the story and the exposition skills were simply not enough. They didn't have enough space to fully prepare for the twist. The twist was good, sure, but the lack of proper build-up undermined its impact. It was even confusing and the author had to resort to leaving a note to clarify things.

if I had a scale of “liked” to “disliked, ” I would be in the middle but leaning towards “liked” I guess.

it’s an interesting read for sure. But like twobada, I felt the exposition was lacking so the twist didn’t have much impact. It’s too confusing for anyone to have a reaction. the twist at the end. I wouldn’t say to take it down but that the author should have added more to the story before including that twist. Again, like twobada, no space was left for build-up so for me, the story felt like one flatline.

overall, it’s pretty good! I think the author could just be inexperienced but there’s lots of potential in them. I hope they can write more mystery romances like this as they hone their skills. <<less
