Having endured relentless torment and met an untimely death, Xile was resurrected by Yunran’s obsessive devotion. Yet the person Yunran had defied fate to retrieve was far from the cherished one Xile had hoped for.
Xile feared Yunran and hated her, only to discover that Yunran was a fabricated “villainess.” Her hatred suddenly had nowhere to go. One after another, vague questions remained unanswered, while Xile found herself developing a morbid affection for Yunran. Xile finally resolved to leave in order to prevent herself from falling back into the abyss and to protect the futures of others.
Two years later, Yunran stood behind Xile, having become the “good person” Xile had once dreamed of. Meanwhile, Xile held the weapon that had once terrified her, now pointed at her own father.
“I choose to confront my father’s evil.”
This time, she would no longer make excuses for herself. She would choose the kind of person she wanted to be.
When someone who has always been cautious becomes relentlessly aggressive,
“Such a sharp tongue. You’re not as docile and adorable as you used to be.”
“I have no obligation to remain unchanged. If you want docile and adorable, go find someone else.”
“That won’t do. I prefer someone who explodes at the slightest touch now.”
When someone who has always poured their energy outward begins to act awkwardly,
“Do I have to spell it out for you? I’ve made my feelings clear enough.”
“Sulking doesn’t suit you.”
“You’re certainly direct, but your words aren’t exactly pleasant to hear.”

One-Sentence Summary: Become the person you choose to be.
