I read this because I thought I could handle an extremely heavy yandere male lead.... but man.....

I didn't really search for smutty novels and expect amazing plot but 30 something chapters in and they're genuinely just having s*x every single chapter was just boring.

The fmc's thoughts and feelings weren't really explored which makes sense given her backstory, and this is narrated from her perspective. But when it's just them banging every chapter my eyes just started to glaze over, I still kept reading anyways to see what happens to her.

Additionally,... more>> what is witht he author and their kink for piss??? Like does this HAVE to be included in the story.... or atleast could it not be brought up every 4 chapters....

The guy in this is also extremely insufferable... having a mental breakdown screaming why multiple times over bc he thinks she cares about another person's wellbeing and he can't handle the idea of 'sharing' her, when all she did is say something like 'hey, maybe don't kill that person? I don't think it's the best idea...'. This just genuinely gives me emotionally stunted and man child vibes which I personally detest. Her having to 'guide' him to not kill someone and having to choose her words wisely so he doesn't crash out is something...

Also I just genuinely feel so bad for the fMC bc he is crazy ash.

Overall this is one of the worst things I ever read, I could probably overlook the nonexistent plot line and emotional depth, along with manchild ml... but the smut in my opinion isn't even written good enough to overlook those things. The author's obvious piss kink also just turned me away from this novel completely but I finished it to satisfy my morbid curiosity. <<less

Terrible writing, but it gave me one of the most unhinged yandere MLs I’ve ever read. I mean, this guy makes stalkers look like casual fans. Every page with him had me equal parts horrified and strangely fascinated, like watching a car crash in slow motion that’s also inexplicably on fire.

The smut... oh, the smut. It should come with a warning: “May cause second-hand embarrassment, existential dread, and sudden urges to question all life choices.” I genuinely wanted to sit the author down, offer them a cup of tea, and... more>> ask, “What were you thinking? Really, what were you thinking?” And maybe follow up with, “Were you drunk, bestie?" Because... imagine smut where the leads are talking about catheters, urethras, and a... vajayjay that smells of u**ne?. I am genuinely baffled.

Would I recommend it? Only if you’re bored, have a high tolerance for cringe, and want a front-row seat to a psycho who single-handedly redefines “obsession.” Otherwise... maybe just admire the yandere energy from afar and save your sanity. <<less

Personally one of my favorite story. The obsession is dipping out of the story.

But I think the FL is a bit soulless at some points but I get that living with such a psychopath as husband is energy+life draining.

The ML is the muse of obsessive love the line "I will burn the world for you" and yes if I ever saw someone like him in real life I'll run for my life.

... more>> Overall the plot is very new removing all the reincarnation etc trope it's refreshing to read something new.

Update: so if anyone who think they need dark romance in their life, read this. The story really goes into how these ML type of obsessed people break their "loved one's" soul and spirit, making a cage of their fear. The story is true to yandere plot not showing his 'change' as these type of people don't change easily. <<less

This is dark romance through and through. It’s set in a time where the FL has already resigned herself to her yandere’s obsession and insanity. Don’t expect strong FL, she was just a normal woman before meeting ML, and she’s long since become numb and passive accepting of her life.

One day, while waiting in the house she hasn’t step foot out of for years, her husband comes home from work with a scar he didn’t have that morning, and admits he had been in another world for a few months... more>> casually. He had been summoned as the Savior.

The ML is obsessed, possessive, lovesick, and insane. He’s the yandere that “won”, and is now happily tending to his wife every day. He thinks anyone who looks at his wife will fall in love with her. He would’ve mu*dered and done crazy things if modern era didn’t have so much CCTV. He is intelligent, resourceful, and dangerous, and even more so regarding everything concerning FL.

Honestly, I liked it. It was a refreshing take on the “summon the hero isekai”, except the hero you summon is a maniac whose world revolves around his wife and will literally kill you for talking to her.

Also, the smut was nice, it was depraved, and that’s how I like smut. <<less

This is pure brain rot horror story, if you enjoy japanese hentai with analytical characters I guess you might like this. Otherwise this is frustrating to read as there is no progression to their characters, and since it is female pov who sees no one but the male lead, the level of suffocation is beyond max.

Pretty realistic Yandere but even as a fantasy this one delves into horror side of things more than I like, also since there is no emotional aspect to characters other than frustration/suffocation, these is no... more>> element that I would consider romance. Since, romance is so nonexistent the smut also reads as too analytical, their s*x life is pretty wordy and descriptive just like you'd see in a hentai but it also lacks tension and passion.

Anyways, I usually don't bother commenting but this one I just had to warn off those who are looking for their guilty pleasure swoon worthy yandere male lead with a fun to read female lead. This one just misses that mark. <<less
