This is essentially R-18 Romeo and Juliet K Novel regression fanfiction. The barest skeleton of the OG Shakespeare plot is there, but really the characters were just harvested and plopped into a “European Ambiance” setting.

The smut avoids the worst of the genre’s pitfalls- Rosaline is pretty actively into it except for maybe the first couple of scenes. As a reader, the biggest thing for me is that when she asked for him to be gentle the author actually had him attend to her.

Outside of the smut, Rosaline might be a... more>> frustrating FL for some because she starts off as kind of a doormat. Contrary to the blurb, I don’t think as of writing this that she truly suspects Romeo may not be the Romeo she wanted to keep from Juliet.

Docked one star due to some translation errors (eg calling Rosaline Juliet while latter wasn’t even in Verona), but I’ll probably revise that as more chapters are released.
