Xu Xingguang was struck by a falling mirror from a great height, fell into a coma, and became a vegetative state patient.

After she fell into a coma, various characters with hidden motives began to appear—

Her wealthy boyfriend, who had been pretending all along, revealed his true intentions and saw her as a mobile blood bank, drew her blood multiple times to save his true love, Bai Xuan?

Her biological mother mysteriously died in a car accident, and her scumbag father remarried his former lover, and suddenly, a pair of illegitimate children older than her emerged out of thin air?

Her biological father even said he wanted to remove her oxygen mask, waiting for her to die, and then offer her to the Huo family’s sickly son?

Upon waking up, Xu Xingguang said, “I’m grateful for everyone’s kindness, and I promise to repay in double.”

No one knew that during the years she spent bedridden and in a coma, Xu Xingguang’s soul traveled through ten lifetimes, stirring up storms in different worlds.

The once dazzling gem had long transformed into an unyielding diamond. Whoever dared to mistreat her, she would crush them.

This is a novel featuring a female protagonist who returns after reincarnating through ten lifetimes, indulging in creative revenge, and taking along a sickly man as her sidekick. With the experiences of ten lifetimes, she rises to the pinnacle of her life.

I started reading this expecting a straightforward romance with some faceslapping moments, but I didn’t know I’d be taken on such a ride. This story is jam-packed with adventures, sci-fi and xianxia elements, family drama, heartwarming moments, and great romance. The MC is perfect—she excels at everything—while the ML is almost perfect. I love how, despite how amazing the ML is, the author doesn’t overshadow the female MC; instead, she’s kept on equal footing, if not higher, than the ML. Their romance is heartwarming, and I appreciate how, even in... more>> the midst of serious plot developments and their time apart, we still get snippets of their love through video calls or short chats.

The storytelling isn’t perfect—sometimes the author will directly reveal a plot twist instead of developing more scenes for its buildup. However, this could easily be fixed with some editing. Overall, the plot keeps thickening, which makes it exciting to read. Despite the introduction of many characters as the story progresses, each has a distinct plot and backstory, so even towards the end, I wasn’t confused about who was who during the resolution. It also seems like everything was tied up nicely with no loose ends.

    Spoiler

I especially liked how, despite the MC and ML being connected in their past life, they don’t fall into the cliché of always being together in every world. Out of the 10 lives the MC lived, the ML appears in only one. Interestingly, he wasn’t the one who left the most memorable mark on the MC in those 10 lives—this was something the MC explicitly reflects on in the story. It was touching to see how, despite not being the most remembered, the ML was given the chance to be with the MC in her real world because of his unwavering devotion. It’s a beautiful mix of hard work and destiny.

    It’s a 4.5

The story is epic and well written. The plot unfolds without any weird flex and blend the genre well. It’s not a romance novel, though there is a bit of sweet romance. The focus of the novel is on the extraordinary adventure of the FL and ML. The dynamic between them would fit better in a reverse harem genre. Anyway FL came back with revenge but the revenge is really only a small part of the novel.

    It’s a must read.

I've been so busy with work that my reading progress was so slow. In fact, this is the slowest time I finished a story—18 days! I can read a cultivation story with more than 3, 000 chapters within a week yet it took me 18 days to finish this story with less than 500 chapters.

Anyway, I kinda like how diverse the plot is. At first, you might think that it's a typical OP FL being reborn faced with a white lotus sister (very typical of c-novels), but no, it isn't.... more>> Having reached the end, the story's initial family conflict seems far away. The plot was so diverse that until now, I can't completely describe it. Nevertheless, I admire the author's wide imagination.

The romance isn't bad. The FL who lived for 10 lifetimes as either male or female, knows the mindset of both genders, thus, she has both the domineering and doting characteristics of men as well as gentleness and considerate attitude of women. She's very proactive and sober about love, I like it a lot. The ML, on the other hand, is a love brain lol. Compared with the knowledgeable FL, he's quite innocent with matters of men and women but he's very cute when being shy and resentful towards scumbag Xu lol. In short, the romance is quite good. Both are likable characters. They have such good tacit understanding and they are very mindful of each other's individuality.

The conflict of the story is both internal and external. There's quite a lot of conflicts but all are interconnected. I like it more compared to having conflict popping up one after another conflict was solved because since the story's conflicts are interconnected here, once the other was solved, the rest would be solved subsequently.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this story which took me a long time to finish. I won't deny that I also kinda feel bored reading it, not because it's really boring but mainly because I read too many stories that it's inevitable that my enthusiasm isn't that great anymore. Nevertheless, this story is still 8.5/10 for me. <<less
