MC is a super pay to win of a dying game who got summoned into the game after the server shut down. It's basically the setting of overlord really except this MC only got to keep his inventory and the actual game/story world is a tower structure rather than open world mmo.

I do not find this to be premise promising in the slightest, it's basically your typical Korean game elements novel like second life ranker except instead of the MC being super skilled which is how authors typically make us... more>> believe that the MC is always able to get the best rewards and skills, this MC instead has overpowered equipment which allows him to breeze through the tower.

Now here's my problem with this, why not just make him op by transporting his entire game character and focus on world and character development? The author essentially decided to keep the worst aspect of the game elements novels which is the monotonous and boring grind but took out the interesting part of the struggle, adventure and hardships by making the MC have the best equipment possible, it will literally just be invisible dragon (a korean novel that pokes fun at the boringness of overpowered harem stories). Then add on top of it by making it a tower setting instead of a open mmo the world development which this desperately needs to make up for the lackluster story will 100% be inferior since in a tower premise we'll spend a couple chapters on a floor see the MC level up by killing some mobs and learn some skills then move on and the whole floor will be forgotten in a dozen chapters and never be mentioned of again.

3 for now

edit: while the story and plot isn't promising the sheer quality is quite something (for a webnovel of course) I do happen to have a soft spot for these turn your brain off novels that are really well written (I do absolutely despise harem though) it might not have a great plot but sometimes you just wanna read a self insert fanfic as a guity pleasure. <<less

fairly decent but I can see why some people would find it boring, since he's basically in new game+ with all his inventory which, apparently, he never bothered to clean out, since it takes him five minutes of searching to find a sword at one point. So far it's all be grinding and he's basically sheered through everything in a few sword strokes. And that was before his luck stat was permanently increased and he managed to evolve the suspiciously convenient trait he just got. Yes, the plot armor is... more>> that thick. Don't read it if grinding stories with super OP MC bore or piss you off. I'm enjoying it but then, I like playing in new game+ on a decent JRPG game so it's fine by me. <<less

It's okay I guess? Mediocre. Doesn't really have anything going on, I'd only suggest reading it if you have nothing better to do.

I find myself unable to really invest myself in anything that's going on, but that may just be due to how I'm still waiting for the MC to develop even a drop of real personality.

Stuff just kinda happens, the protagonist just kinda wipes it out with overwhelming power, and that's it.

I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but naw, what you see in the first 10 chapters... more>> is what you get.

My Initial Review (at c14, 4 stars)
Spoiler

TL;DR: It's pretty decent thus far, has potential.

So the MC has been playing this MMO religiously even though the player base is super tiny. However, using the power of bitcoin he ends up becoming the top player among the sparse amount of other people who actually bother with this game.

However, the servers are abruptly closed, and just as suddenly our MC is transported into the world of the game. It turns out that other people have also been transported into the game world, but for some reason the oldest people there have been in the world for 5 years while he's just gotten there.

But out MC gets to keep all of his stuff from when he was max level and gets a bunch of other benefits to boot, so he gets really strong really fast. Not much has really happened so far, but expect a grind to level 500 and the top floor of the tower.

Usually, with so little going on, I'd give this three stars. But seeing as there are only 14 chapters, I'll be giving four in anticipation for the plot further down the line.

I'll edit this later if my thoughts change.
