Really enjoyable romance + smut story. It focuses a lot on the relationship between the FL and ML with almost no drama. They both trust and love each other a lot so nothing really gets in their way.

FL can hear ML’s voice in her mind and that’s the start of their relationship.

She’s an independent strong lady who is kinda apathetic to everything around her. Kinda like a demis*xual and she somehow finds herself connected to the ML, experiencing new emotions.

Not going to lie that this is one hell of a hot romance novel. It's a very good read in my opinion. The plot is beautiful, simple, yet touching enough. The character setup between ML and FL is just... perfect. And the additional characters in it too, that's very nice.

What I like the most here is; the absence of misunderstandings. No excessive drama, no bickering or hurtful jealousy. It's just really sweet! Ugh, I love it so much!!!

And... ahh. That smut scene! Hahahahahah. So... hot. There was no excessive violence,... more>> coercion, or scenes that hurt our FL. Here, the FL took it well and enjoyed it a lot, and it was fun to read because they both loved it, unlike other novels where the FL would suffer a lot during interc**rse. Here, no. It's just fun to read.

I really liked how ML's character didn't feel inferior at all, or get depressed over being mute. He remained confident, looked very charming in his own way, and was able to charm FL with ease. I also really like that ML has no self-pity. He rallied, he fought, especially for FL, he worked hard to be able to speak again by overcoming his past trauma. This is amazing. Even though he was mute in the beginning, but, his character portrayal was so charming, I just fell in love (ㅅ´˘`).

Our FL is also very simple. I really liked the way she behaved, how she could easily break up with a schoolmate who had a crush on her, how she responded to her mom, how she handled all the problems, and how she interacted with ML. Ugh! I loved it so much!

It was a light, sweet, and... hot read, hahahahah. I'm so glad I found this gem!

Very good story. Aside from the Mc's mind reading, everything is relatable. (Most of the times, the chinese novel during s*x is either painful, first time, or being r*pe.)

The smut scene is on 🔥. The s*x is hot, It's real.

I love the MC, she's very rational. Sometimes, when you like/love someone, it's like "you & him" against the world. And the ML for his understanding the situation.

This is such a sweet, drama-free romance with no unnecessary misunderstanding. With the ML being mute and only able to communicate with FL by her reading his mind through eye contact, they surprisingly communicate really well. Jealousy is present but not in a toxic and irrational way.

There are plenty of smut scenes as well. I don't often come across romance chinese novels with really explicit bed scenes. Because of the China's censorship, intimate scenes are mostly only implied, or the authors are using metaphors or they just completely skipped... more>> it. That's why some authors do two versions, clean and explicit, where the clean versions are the ones being published traditionally or online. Which is why sometimes translators are having a hard time finding the raw chapters of those explicit scenes. Reading the smut in this novel is both unexpected and not gonna lie, extremely hot!

Though this has a mention of su*cide and attempted su*cide, the overall tone of this novel is lighthearted and sweet. The plot wasn't delved deeper, but enough for it not to be a shallow plot with no substance. <<less
