For example *ehem, there is a description about the sp*rm is coming out and she said what if the baby-making failed. And then there's a time when they go outside to have *ehem you know. And then they're doing it in the lake too. Of course as a non-smut novel (a little embarrassed but I read a lot of it), it would never say anything about inserting, about being full, and about mmm the finishing moment.

So our MC is actually a ghost (may not be a virg*n, I think she rolled around on top of straws with ML hahaha). And she died with her obsession, and then after turned into a ghost. The problem is that the ML turned crazy and she witnessed all of that as a ghost. After hundreds of years, she gradually lost her memory and her soul became the soul of the mountain. With the help of some Taoist she condensed her body, and then took on some human identity (not very clear but I think she did it because she wants to do business and needs identity). Then she met ML after getting that identity in the family and going to the banquet. And she falls in love at first sight. Kinda normal tbh, she is obsessed before her death and as a ghost still misses him. No wonder she falls in love again.

The other reviewer commented why they didn't kill the villain and bad people. It's because killing people will incur karma. ML died in his first life after killing all people who killed MC and he also implicated the innocent, that's why his body got destroyed. If you read the last chapters, even the MC almost died after killing bad people. However, it turns out that heaven is not senile at least, and she instead got merit, for protecting the innocent and killing the sinful. The male lead also got enlightenment that heaven is actually not unreasonable.

Mu Wanran story is messed up tho, and it's filled with sadomasochism. Her story only got told at the end of the novel. Before that she is simply a villain.

The character does fall flat in some way. And this includes the world-building. It's a little hard to picture) the power balance in this novel (although I don't really like reading about fighting).

The female MC is obsessed with ML because in her past life before she died and came back as a ghost she was in love with ML and they planned to marry. Somehow (?) MC died due to wild animals and some mortal schemers then ML killed the animals and schemers and su*cided. ML had his memory taken by his useless father, and then many years later MC meets ML again. MC has lost all her memories but still loves ML for no explained reason.
