I only read up to chapter 52 because I couldn't find a place to read that I liked and the story wasn't really to my liking, so I just dropped it. So far, I'm actually okay with the story, but I'm not that excited because it's a male protagonist and I don't really like this genre. Moreover, at the beginning of the story, the MC already seems a bit romantic, so I'm a bit put off.

The MC can detect problems in animals and their attributes. There are levels he has... more>> to raise, and that makes the MC really obsessed. Not to mention, the MC also really loves money (okay, who doesn't hahaha). The problem is that the MC really sees all the animals as a source of income. There's no "dad and his pet" dynamic because basically the MC only cares about them because they make money. The MC even thought, "This animal is just ordinary. There's really nothing special" when examining an animal with ordinary attributes, and as someone who has kept many cats and only gets new ones after the old one dies, I'm a little annoyed. The cats I've kept are nothing special, and yes, this is personal, I'm a little offended lol. While it could be due to a mistranslation, the MC's attitude is actually more or less not that fond of animals. If you're looking for a cute and touching story about the owner and pet, you should lower your expectations. The only cute relationship between the owner and pet is seen with the MC's customers (of course, this is the 52 chapters I've read, so there may be changes).

Also, I was a little annoyed that the problems faced by the MC's customers were so completely dismissed. At least give those people some information about what happened, but no, they were only discussed briefly, just one sentence. It felt a bit anti-climactic.

I also have a few thoughts about the money lending website going bankrupt. Lol, please don't do this in real life. Those money lending companies, even if they're illegal and about to be shut down, will still track your credit and ultimately become a black mark on the bank. With the website shut down and the person in charge in trouble, it will be difficult, if not impossible, to repair your account. But of course, this all depends on your country. At least I know some countries do things like what I wrote about. But heyy this is just a novel hahaha I'm not taking this novel seriously, I'm just giving a little information. <<less

interesting premise/system. I find the plot entertaining enough so far. Took off 2.5 stars for some pet peeves that might make me drop later, rounding up rating to 3 stars so others might give it a chance.

major complaints:

1. 1. story is constantly repeating itself. The author basically writes the same sentence over and over to explain a simple idea, using 5 or more sentences for something that could be explained in 1. It's like they're trying to hit a word count (which might actually be the case). Gets less annoying/noticeable as the story goes on, -0.5 stars.
   2. for a story about animals, the MC really doesn't seem to like animals that much. He basically only sees them as tools to make money. Sure, I don't expect him to be a saint saving every animal on the street, but he should at least have the basic trait of genuinely being an animal-lover as the requirement for an animal-based system, right? I won't say more since I'm afraid of spoiling, but it's very obvious that MC wouldn't care less about an animal's life or death if he didn't have his system giving him some benefits, -1 star.
   3. it takes way too long for MC to actually appraise the pets in his livestream. MC will hear a problem, spend half/a full chapter commenting about it in his head, coming to his own conclusion, and only then using the system for the final conclusion. The MC constantly stalling before using his system is completely pointless to the plot since the actually interesting part is him using the traits from the system to come up with the final conclusion. The chat usually fills in as the audience finding the most obvious, and wrong, solution. The MC doesn't need to do that when he can just use his damn system already! Seriously suspect this is another method the author is using to hit word count, -1 star.

i have some additional minor complaints that I won't elaborate on, mostly just to justify to myself why I'm still reading this.

despite all the complaints, I do find the little stories about the animals appearing on mc's stream entertaining to read. All the minor characters appearing on the stream seem like genuinely good owners that care about their animals to make up for the MC. I think the story handles the balance between stream-content and life-content well. Finally, I'm interested in seeing how far the MC can go with his system in terms of upgrading it and using it to improve his life.

i'd say give the first couple chapters a try if you're interested in the premise and want to turn your brain off for a bit. However, if you especially can't stand complaint #2, save your time and skip the story. Mc's personality is the worst part of the story, even outside of the animal stuff, and he isn't likely to get better anytime soon. The most likely reason for me to drop is not being able to tolerate the MC anymore.
