[Infrastructure Management + Competition and Combat]

Yan Shaonan transmigrated to the interstellar world and finally fought her way up from cannon fodder on the battlefield to become the captain of the Federation’s S-rank assault squad, the Silver Eagles. However, a piece of faulty intelligence led to her demise in a Zerg nest.

When Yan Shaonan opened her eyes… she had transmigrated yet again!

This time, she was dumped on a harsh, wasteland planet—when suddenly, a strange voice sounded in her mind:

[Ding! Military Academy Construction System is binding. This system will assist you in building the strongest military academy in the interstellar!]

Build a military academy… on a wasteland planet? Is this a joke? Will anyone even come to this dump?

But the system’s rewards were too tempting to refuse, so she gritted her teeth and went all in.

Thus, she built the school, found teachers, recruited students—and Military Academy 627 was born!

At first, when people heard that 627 was located on some barren planet in a remote star system, they sneered:

What kind of sketchy, back-alley school is this? Is the principal a scammer?

But later, during the Military Academy League, 627 shocked everyone. Their students had iron wills and overwhelming combat strength. Other academies were stunned—

Wait—

Isn’t the one leading their team that double-C tr*sh (low physique + low mental power) who was rejected by every school?

And the one talking to her—isn’t that the famous naive heiress from Capital Star?

And that so-called rebellious failure who “disappeared” from Capital Star ended up at 627 too?

Why are they all so strong now?

Does 627 have some kind of magic?!

Enrollment forms and transfer requests poured into 627 like snowflakes.

Students everywhere begged: “Give us a chance! We want to get stronger too!”

The people from 627 wore grave expressions:

“You have no idea what we went through… OUR PRINCIPAL IS A DEVIL!”

【Reading Guide】

Main plot is building, managing, and developing the school. It’s a principal-POV interstellar military academy story. Students get a lot of screentime. Male lead is more of a background character.

Three departments: Solo Combat, Fleet/Ship, and Command. Besides mecha, there are fighters, battleships, and power armor. Both ground battles and space warfare appear.

This is an amazing story. I really enjoy reading military-themed books, but most of the ones I’ve read don’t focus much on the actual military aspects like combat and training. I decided to give this one a try because the synopsis mentioned real battles and infrastructure development, two things I really enjoy.

The first 50 chapters are decent, but what truly surprised me was how the story progressed afterward. You can clearly see the improvements and changes in the characters as the plot unfolds. Many of the military students struggle a... more>> lot, and the author gives most of them meaningful backstories. Even though there are many characters, they’re all memorable, and most of the students get their own moments to shine.

The main character, who is the Principal, is also very well written. Even though she has a system, she is not overly powerful, which makes her growth feel believable and adds more tension to the story.

I also love that the author puts real effort into writing the training and lessons. Some of the terminology and drills are surprisingly accurate to actual military training. Even though the story is set in the interstellar era, the combat scenes in the later chapters are incredibly immersive; you can really feel the intensity of the fights.

Overall, I highly recommend this story. Solid 9/10. <<less

I finished this novel and honestly, I love it. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Practically, the plot follows our MC and her journey of building the best military academy in barren planet. Through the journey, we follow along her students and see them rise up and change for the better.

Things that I truly love about this story is that the times her students fight against others or durning competitions, other students aren't dumbed down for them to have easy victory. No, every character there is truly... more>> smart and on many occasions I was truly floored, thinking how can they even win and then be pleasantly surprised if they pull something off. And they can also lose, which is something I appreciate. Honestly amazing story. Love it. <<less
