As a Historiographer, my father recorded the truth-and was thrown into the imperial prison for it.
My elder brother took up the Historiographer’s Brush and continued writing, “The Prince Regent mu*dered the emperor,” and was exiled beyond the pass.
That left our entire family with only me, one frail young woman.
Timid and cautious by nature, I did not dare write a true history and offend the Prince Regent.
Several days later, the Prince Regent tore my Unofficial History to shreds in a towering rage.
“This prince seduced the late emperor and hid deadly poison in his ass crack?!”
“Your Unofficial History is a little too unofficial!”
