With a father to whom he shared no blood, a primary wife living in separate quarters, and a mother and himself who held no official status, Chen Huai had long grown sick of this eerie, oppressive home.
That was until the day he met the Jiangs’ eldest son—his brother in name—Jiang Tingshi.
The man exuded elegance and nobility in every gesture. Faced with Chen Huai’s cautious presence, Jiang Tingshi refused to spare him even a sliver of his gaze, as if terrified of being tainted by something filthy.
Yet, Chen Huai became obsessed with his so-called brother as if possessed. Even in the depths of the night, amidst ragged breaths, he would cry out the name that haunted his dreams.
He was beyond saving, and equally beyond forgiveness.
Lately, Chen Huai had been deeply troubled.
He kept receiving messages from a stranger—content that was suggestive and bold. Even after blocking the sender, a new number would quickly appear to take its place.
“You look so beautiful today. Who did you dress up for? It better be for me, or I’ll gouge his eyes out ^^”
“You look so cute in those rabbit ears. Next time, can you wear them just for me?”
“Baby, didn’t you we agree you’d only be my puppy? Why are you wagging your tail at someone else?”
…..
Finally unable to endure the harassment, Chen Huai turned to his best friend, a hacker, to help trace the owner of the numbers.
A few hours later, his friend sent a message containing the GPS coordinates of the source.
With just one look, Chen Huai’s phone slipped from his hand and hit the floor with a sharp clack, the screen shattering into a thousand pieces.
The owner of the number was inside his house.
