The main character also thinks that maybe his intelligence and way of thinking has changed because he has turned into an "octopus" so maybe that's why he always thinks that the shy fishes when meeting him and the people he meets are all drug addicts

And honestly, I find it quite interesting that he accidentally makes the female lead distort her perception and like him =))

If you've come to expect an actual Cthulhu-like MC, then I should warn, it isn't so.

The problem with this novel as like the others, is that the MC doesnt truly act like a lovecraftian horror...

This isn't a "lovecraftian" Cthulhu by the way. It gets revealed that Cthulhu isn't the "malevolent deity" (not malevolent, but in the og lore his actions are malevolent?) as you'd think he is.

Basically the Hero Party visits a tribe on an island which had a belief around the MC, and there it gets revealed that Cthulhu is one of the foreign gods that came to earth, but sealed itself among with the foreign gods and the foreign culture that drove the residents of this planet mad. It was heroic Cthulhu for some reason (???)

Also, this has sorta "tentacle" play (if yk what I mean), I was surprised as hell when that came on. It gets freaky.

I dont recommend this at all for someone who reads it for the lovecraftian aspect, and also because the og novel has a low chapter count rn (27 chaps).

PS: By the way, to the other 2 reviews which insulted the MCs intelligence are too impatient, though not really their fault since the Tl isnt far.. I've read the raw further than the TL, and basically, the MC acts like a single-celled organism at the start. This is intentional, and it gets spoken about later. <<less

The protagonist might be the s*upidest person I have ever read in all my years of reading. He reincarnates as a Cthullu type mythical being, and is somehow confused when everyone who sees him starts going insane. Instead of looking at his massive insane looking multi armed body as the main cause he chalks it up to everyone on the sea being addicted to drugs? He might geniunely be ret*rded

Imagine you find yourself in the body of a monstrosity, watch every living thing die or go crazy as you approach, then meet humans who do the same thing. If you're surprised the humans don't want to be friends with a giant ugly octopus (self admitted) and also die when you touch them, or think they're drug addicts because they foam at the mouth just like all the fish you've seen in your new body? Congratulations, you just might be the protagonist of this novel.
