“I’ll do my best. So you don’t have to worry about anything from now on.”

Ines was falsely accused of killing her husband and spent 10 hellish years in prison. Was there no dream or hope in her life?

After being released, she witnessed her husband, Joseph Benois, alive and she was hit by a carriage while chasing him and died.

When she opened her eyes again, everything was peaceful 12 years ago.

Ines, who was blindly in love, was no longer there.

“You’re not planning to make me live as a commoner’s wife, right?”

“…”

“If you really want to marry me, you must put in effort too.”

However, the savior who saved her life before her return, Prince Carson von Raymond, appeared in front of her, obsessed with revenge.

He probably had no previous memories, but he came to Ines’s place as the lord, and as if he was being led by fate, he helped her every time…

“I’m not going to leave you alone anymore. I will let you know that you’re not okay at all.”

Ines, who had become a sinner because of revenge, was completely captivated by her loving savior.

“So please hold my hand tighter.”

The plotline itself isn't particularly special.

That said, what matters more is execution here and that was well done.

Although the reason for her coming back isn't detailed (just as a miracle, and that could honestly be wrong since she's a blind believer, she just changed to who the worship goes), the rest was great.

... more>> There's revenge, there's palace intrigue, there's emotional healing, and a good romance.

I seriously don't understand why is this rated so low and there's no reviews.

In terms of characterization, most are realistic enough. The extras have some presence.

The FL was interesting. From the top of my head I can't recall any FL that had such blind faith in the true sense of the word. I like the fact that she never gave up in her desire to be an equal and a proper help for the ml. It's good that she isn't s*upid either. She worked with who and what she had to the best of her ability.

The ml, in my opinion isn't so great in comparison to her. I can let the jealousy go but I'm not a fan of too much ego. Yes, he's capable but he sure needed the FL to get to where he ended. At least one thing he has well established in his mind is trust in her judgement.

The antagonists are true tr*sh. That said, nobles are historically like that, I would say that the depiction was actually well done.

The romance aspect felt a bit unhealthy to me. But when I consider all the trauma she suffered, I can understand the desperation and attatchment she has to the ml. All in all she got what she needed and got happy so I think that's what matters at the end of the day. Besides, she does switch from thinking on him as a god to a person at some point, that was her most glaring issue to me.

The 2nd ML is a good man. He gave up cleanly but still wants to protect the fl. He sure was needed when sh*t hit the fan more than once.

The translation I read was good.

The art isn't my taste, I like the coloring work though.

TLDR: Romance, palace intrigue and revenge got mixed together quite well here. The FL has blind faith and uses that to bulldoze through everything in her way to be on par with the ml. She grows and heals a from all the suffering in the process. The author made things plausible. I found this novel to be impossible to let go of until I finished it. <<less
