Tao Linyi was simply too beautiful. A single ID photo of him wearing a white shirt against a red background was enough to make him the talk of the entire school faculty.

To secure funding, his father sent Tao Linyi to the Li family—not as a “child husband” (scratch that), not as a “hostage” (scratch that), but simply to be fostered for a period of time (correct).
