Tsurumi Yuki has transmigrated, landing directly in a “Darkened Honmaru.”

There are only four swords here, but all of them are behaving strangely.

Yaguen is stubborn but soft-hearted, willing to protect him, yet his voice turns low and hoarse during his rut as he tempts Yuki to open his mouth. Goto treats him as a brother and a partner, but the manifestation of the blade that can only appear at night is growing restless, his burning gaze fixed solely on the young man.

Atsushi suffers from an apparent lack of emotion, yet he personally plants fresh flowers, wipes away the blood, and offers a beautiful floral wreath into Yuki’s hands. Shinano is suspected of having a split personality; after a manic episode, his original persona takes over, spiraling into madness as he steals the boy away from his brothers’ rooms in the early morning.

Tsurumi Yuki is at a total loss, finding the entire situation terrifying.

Overwhelmed by fear and a desperate need to escape, he finds an unexpected lifeline when Yaguen, wearing a smirk, is the first to reach out. Yaguen tells him that if he wants to leave this place, he needs a Honmaru of his own and a sword spirit willing to enter a contract with him.

Yaguen offers to be that spirit.

Yuki hesitates but eventually agrees. However, being naturally cautious, he feels that relying on just one person isn’t safe enough. In secret, he begins to “recruit” the other swords as backups.

He keeps this to himself, believing it’s better if no one else knows. If he needs them, it’s foresight; if he doesn’t, it’s simply a safety net.

One, then two, then three…

One-line Summary: The possessiveness of an Alpha vs. the moral compass of sword spirits.
