I didn’t find either of the main characters relatable at all. Even their brief moments of sweetness felt fragile and superficial, just like the title suggests. Because of that, I couldn’t really immerse myself in the softer moments, and the story left me feeling far from happy.

The content is pretty intense, but for a BL story about confinement, it’s actually good. If you’re curious, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try. That being said, I’d still give it 5★ Since I couldn’t emotionally connect with the characters, I was able to look at the story more objectively, and from that perspective, it’s brilliant. The subtle shifts in emotions, faint hopes, betrayals, and the dark, surface-level intensity of a relationship bound by a collar and chain—Konohara’s storytelling skills are truly remarkable here.
