Reading this is like watching a train wreck in slow motion. You know its terrible, but you can't look away.

The pseudo-science that the author inflicts on us is a confusing mishmash of cultivation, fantasy and gamelit elements with nonsensical sciency mumbo jumbo layered on top. I'm convinced that trying to take it seriously rots your brain.

The MC is one of those guys that whines about how the Heavens hate him and torture him, while he goes through his piles of loot that literal empires would happily fight wars over, and... more>> which he knows can be readily converted into a noble title and a life of leisure if he ever felt like it.

I like that the MC mostly tries to solve things with his head, but it'd be more impressive if his opponents could outwit a particularly dim five year old, or if the author didn't bend reality to make sure that the MC always has exactly the thing he needs, just before he needs it.

Honestly, unless you read Mechanical God Emperor and thought "O my God, this is Shakespeare!" I can't really recommend this drivel. <<less

4/5 is just because right now it feels a little slow but I think its more of a personal thing I'm not sure.

I disagree with the review below, its "pseudos-science" but the author is not trying to show as if he is some expert that knows science he is just making some fictional science that exist on that world, he don't give much details on the "science" rather he more of just describe it exists and thats it pretty much.

Also dude got something that entire empires would wish for, but... more>> so what? He has no strenght, is a prisioner that have poision on his body so he needs to try triciking a doctor from the bandits to get the cure. How the hell you can claim he "can trade stuff to become noble if he feels like it" when he is stuck with a bandit group, he never even went to a human city aside of the first mission ffs, he doesn't deny its a big ass lucky that he got those treasure, but because he had to suffer the moment he got into this world and sh*t just keep happening with him. Would you honestly tell to yourself "you are a lucky bastard" when you get a fortune but sh*t keeps happening left and right you can't even be sure you will be able to use it? Hell, MC after he manages to escape do claim that maybe that will be the start of "heaven life" for him.

Characters don't behave like a 5 y/o, they are pretty smart tbh, MC have a"golden finger" that helps he out and thats just it, author is just using such a "cheat" as its supposed to work.

I have to praise the fact the author didn't make the noble girl that he meet and has to make a surgery including seeing her naked act like a kid and throw a tantrum because of it. She just analyzed the situation and what MC told and decided what to do next after that <<less
