Freedom at last!
Without hesitation, he beat up the s*umbag top he’d always despised, packed nothing, and fled in a flash, vowing to become a fierce top from then on, break free from the script, and enjoy life.
However, after the first love rival in the script—his cheap younger brother—showed up wanting to have a meal with him, everything started to go awry.
The white lotus younger brother looked delicate and lovely, his face pitiful and tearful, but his slender, pale hands gripped Zhao Sanling’s vulnerable neck, his voice sticky and sweet:
“Brother, what’s so great about that Wang Jian’an? Love me instead, okay?”
“Brother, who’s more capable, him or me?”
Zhao Sanling’s pupils shook in shock and confusion. He fled his home overnight and arrived at a seaside villa, breathing a sigh of relief as he prepared to blissfully start his vacation.
After a heavy rainstorm, the villa door was knocked. He opened it to find—the second love rival, the gloomy butler, soaked to the bone and standing at the doorstep, eyes reddened and fists clenched:
“Why do your eyes always fail to see me?”
Zhao Sanling slammed the door shut in fright, then turned and threw himself into Wen Shi’s arms on the sofa:
“They’re all so scary! You’re still the best!”
Even though Wen Shi was also a love rival arranged for him by the script, he was the most normal—gentle, generous, beautiful, and willingly acted as his wife. Someone like him was hard to find even with a lantern!
Wen Shi smiled, licking the corner of his lips to hide the greedy, dark desire in his eyes as he tightened his embrace and coaxed softly:
“So never leave me, never, never stop loving me as you do now.”
One day later, after discovering Wen Shi’s true nature, Zhao Sanling tried to run away multiple times, only to be dragged back each time.
The other man hugged him from behind and asked affectionately, “Could it be that I didn’t act enough like before?”
Zhao Sanling replied, “I love you the most.”
Wen Shi laughed, but there was no warmth in his eyes:
“Then why are you trembling?”
