No cuz this shiis so crazy

Generally I dont read to much omegaverse, unless in the case that the plot line is js so freaky that I js have to read it, And this js happend to be such a case. Because literally when I read the synopsis I gasped out loud😭

So its basically about this omega male, who married and fell in love with a normal af beta woman, like they had a kid an all (that apparently he gave birth to, cuz it was inconvenient for his wifes job... more>> to be pregnant) But being a omega, he goes into heat and needs to be f***ed by an alpha, and his wife being a beta woman, is neither an alpha nor has a 🍆 to f*** him with. So he and his wife made a deal that whenever he goes in heat he can find an alpha to f*** him to suppress his heat.

And it gets crazier cuz he asks to record it, so his wife and him can watch it back later for her to make sure hes still loyal (?), and then also she has the condition that he can only be with alpha males and not alpha females cuz then she'll get jealous😭

Im only on the first chapter so far so ill see how it goes, but basically this one guy (r MC, kinda) is really liking him, and is trying to see him again. I dont quite know where this is going, but they also mabye subtly implied that he kinda only loves his wife cuz she accepted him or smthng, idk. But again, im only on the first chapter, but I see this going one of 2 ways. That one, He divorces his wife and gets with the MC, or two, he divorces his wife and ends up alone. Or maybe they'll pull a really freaky plot twist and he, the MC, and his wife will get together and form some sorta trouple. But again im only on the first chapter so ill see where this goes

okay, update, scratch my earlier predictions. Completely off. I wont spoil it but it was pretty good, and alot more deep then I thought. I figured this would be some freaky 4 ch novel I could read. But it had alot of commentary on consent and stuff. Also, and I kinda figured this from js reading the description, but this is not one of those novels where the person ends of with their love interest. If I had to descibe this novel in a sentence it would "freaky s*x and some moral lessons" <<less

As the title says it's a absurd concept from the start. I also thought it was just going to be another smut novel. Oh boy was I wrong it's more than just that.

This novel also contains self harm and suicidal behaviour on multiple occasions.

I only read midway through haven't completed it yet and skipped all the chap with smut. So I don't fully understand the relationship between MC, ML and their family.

I was literally crying at 5am in the morning reading this. The professor and the brother they had to suffer just because they were a omega.

I didn't had the courage to read the early chapters of MC and ML because I know I will get attached to their relationship so I read midway through even then it made me really sad.

The MC at least somewhat repented for what he had done to ml. Unlike those f*ckers who hide themselves because they thought that it wasn't their responsibility or thought it was a hassle to deal with.

This novel later on actually delves into the life of r*pe victims in the form of omegaverse about how omega's are treated by the alpha and the people around them. It's treated exactly as how most r*pe victims are treated in reality. Blaming the victim for causing the problem, telling them if they hadn't done this or that it wouldn't have happened. How the omega has caused the alpha to lose his reason and caused this accident.

How even when the omega goes to report the case the alpha's get just a slap on the wrist or omega has to take the case back because it was meaningless to do so.

At the end the alpha would not even think they did anything wrong just remembering that incident as just a troublesome scuffle. Bringing more pain to the omega as that tells them what happened to them, which destroyed their life and future was a simple nothing with to the alpha.

And replacing this view of alpha and omega on real world bases it goes into real life problems faced by the victims and the people around them.

Though at the end the omega wasn't able to get justice and give the alpha the punishment they deserved. I was happy they could at the very least let themselves be at peace even if it meant forgiving one self for being unable do anything.

Waste of internet space, time and the neurons it took to understand this novel. Feels like a fish bone stuck in my throat, neither able to swallow nor spit out - My opinion

Emphasis on my subjective opinion because apparently there is some deep meaning hidden behind this absurd novel.

All I saw was one man in the guise of a helpless omega taking advantage of every single person who loves him in his life. Be it his beta wife who has been with him through everything, for more than twenty years.... more>> Who he constantly cheats on with. Or his alpha baby daddy who lost everything because he (the omega) felt like a victim of his own self made circumstances.

He admits that he doesn't want to be a fierce independent person, he wants to be a homemaker. But instead of accepting that, he goes on a spiel of how society forces him to be independent. His wife tries to be understanding but I think she could have found a better loyal partner without any bullshit.

It's not some commentary on society, it's a book about a seemingly weak person making the people in his life take the blame for all of his problems, making the father of his second child feel guilty for getting him pregnant and pushing a narrative on every single person he interacts with. He disrespects his wife, his second partner and his daughter.

What in the audacity

And he acts like he is a victim throughout. At the end he mentions gland removal surgery to stop his heats and that he wouldn't need an alpha anymore, essentially dumping this poor guy who lost his reputation his job and his apartment because of him, after he (the alpha protagonist) got him pregnant.

A disgusting person out and out. Not likable or understandable in the least. The protagonist and that guy's wife should open their eyes and see him for what he is because are they truly that blind?

The whole reason that he needs to sleep with random alphas is to regulate his heat, and initially he did so without telling his wife, which is cheating. He proceeds to tell her after she finds out. And they have this arrangement. But then he proceed to emotionally cheat on her, physically cheat on her and end up pregnant.

After tossing these people left and right he then says that gland removal surgery was always an option. Please spare me the bullsh*t because if it was always an option why bother with this whole arrangement in the first place?

All he knows is to use and throw, take love for granted, force people into situations, lead others on, betray his family, betray his lover, hide behind weakness, act a victim, refuse to take accountability and have everything the way he wants to in the end.

I really cannot emphasize enough just how much of a unlikable person he is. I pray for his two kids growing up in such an environment. I hope the protagonist finds someone who truly loves and appreciates him for all his adorable self. I hope he only remains in contact for his child's sake and doesn't get hung up on this rotten tree for the rest of his life.

This isn't a spoiler because even after reading this review, reading the actual story would still make you want to puke and punch at the same time. So in essence I haven't spoiled anyone's experience in reading this novel, it does that by itself just fine.

how this is a man who has completely given up on himself. A man who has been beaten so hard and so often till he has no fight, no sense of self-worth and no dignity left, and the only way forward he sees is the path of least resistance. In the end, he isn't even living anymore, merely existing for the sake of his wife and children.

This leads to one of the bleakest endings I've read in BL so far, where even the characters who tried their hardest to escape their assigned gender and the expectations that come with it are forced back into gender-conformity.

This is also how patriarchy wins irl, of course: by beating women - and people who're seen as women as well as anyone simply too feminine for patriarchal standards - down until they can't get up any more, until we have no choice left but to submit the role society subscribes to us. I can't really fault anyone for giving up; existing under patriarchy is exhausting. Nobody is built for constant battles. But fatalism hasn't ever saved anyone either. <<less
