I actually enjoy where this is going. The FL is not with the slag ab*ser, and there is no romanticization of r*pe. So far the plot has been really interesting, 100% recommend

It's weird the the sysnopsis at the top of the page says:

"She regretted writing it! She regretted making the Female Lead powerless! She regretted not giving a second male lead to the Female lead who could come like a knight in shining armor to save her!"

because in the story itself that's actually exactly what happens. A secondary (or primary depending on how you look at it) male lead swoops in and saves MC just when her predicament starts getting dire and I was actually somewhat disappointed when it happened, it... more>> was just so... I dunno predictable? Like she stumbles into some random handsome guy in a hallway one time and then a few chapters later they meet again and he's ready to play the Big Damn Hero to save her day? It just felt a bit unearned and also a bit overly cliche.

But that is my only complaint with the story really. Meanwhile, on the plus side, the slag 'abusive male lead' never gets the opportunity to lock the MC in his dungeon or anything. The real male lead shows up and then the MC more or less entirely cuts the slag out of her life and he gets regulated to being a reoccurring antagonist who appears on the peripheral of the story.

Another thing to know ahead of time is that this novel is set in modern times but it plays real fast and loose with things like 'laws'. The male lead is some sort of triad boss or something so everyone has guns all the time, which sets a very different tone from a lot of other romance novels set in modern China. It's a different feeling when the evil and scheming white lotus character pulls out a gun, instead of, like, spiked wine or something, midway through her schemes lol

The romance plot is serviceable enough. A bit too quick maybe, but no irritating long drawn out misunderstanding plotlines makes it a win in my books. <<less

It seems interesting

i liked the plot, I will read it as soon as possible although it’s a stereotype transmigration where the ML already has a sweetheart. I believe this one gonna be different after The transmigration happen

The storyline was s*upidly humorous, that I didn't know whether I should laugh or cry. The rough translation didn't help either. The MC somehow transmigrated into her own book. She was of course the ab*sed female lead. I was hoping for a strong MC who is not a Mary Sue but, still could survive. Unfortunately, it's like any other transmigration story where the MC met the ML and everything else went smoothly because the ML was your typical tall, dark, handsome, and rich. Dark as in the attitude not the skin color.

It’s really bad... I couldn’t finish. Other books oh the same author are ok just this one is a bit like low quality? Didn’t like the FL. The story plot is a bit too farfelu for me. I mean it’s ok it’s a fiction but it should be well constructed so its believable. The ML capability to flip 180 all the time is fascinating and at the same unlikable. There is some romance, it’s sudden and a bit weird. Felt like it was an afterthought.

I couldn’t finish plus... more>> the translator site crashed on me a few times so I just gave up on this one. 99% of the time I usually finish novels I start reading on this platform. <<less

Omg, this is so bad that it's hilarious. It's like watching Stephen Chow's movie during Chinese New Year. Nonsensically funny. I don't think the author planned it that way. The start seems serious enough for a rebirth/transmigration, second chance story but somewhere around chapter 20+, seems like the author decided to give up and made it a comedy. Seriously, I could picture the scenes in my mind like a comedy. I wanted to give it a 1 but I gave it another pt for laughs.

This... was really bad. A lot of unasked and delusional plots, the relationship of the FL with the ML was not developed at all and it was kinda toxic too. They try hard to make it funny and comedy worth but its just... not working.

Its a disaster, a complete mess. The author wants to continue the story and adds a lot of nonsensical things so that it can go on! It wasnt necessary at all! I could feel my IQ going down as I read it, the worst part was... more>> that the premisse was interesting but it was poorly developted and not even really used in the end. <<less

Thank you for translating this novel. The plot is a bit crazy but I enjoyed it very much. Especially cute Aka. Lol. The 1st part of the novel is like a rebirth dog blood drama, then suddenly become underworld war action plot, and later it’s become abit like tomb rider / science fiction drama. But it’s fun and funny read. Alot of things actually don’t quite fit the normal expectation or normal thinking, but the book actually quite entertaining and funny to read. Really recommend read. Thank you

  • There's a pet and a handsome ML. So why not right? And our FL slowly fell in love with the ML over time. She even almost eat vinegar when ML hugged other women. And she seems to have a martial arts talent like wrestling and marksmanship.

    Overall, this is pretty easygoing story if you ignore the scum slag and the dog blood drama.
