Probably I'm used to quick gratification but the earlier pacing of the novel felt rather slow to me and I even contemplated dropping it at one point but I'm so glad I persevered because I ended up really enjoying their relationship.

There isn't much of a plot here, just a lot of feelings as they both went from "exes" to friends to lovers. You have to do a lot of reading between the lines to piece together their past and your guesses would likely be wrong anyway. It's a cute and non-disturbing story. It's quite realistic, and the plot revolves around their acceptance and development of relationships from acquaintances to friendship and then to love (I would even say that love and friendship developed simultaneously). It's great to have such simple and charming stories. This novella is definitely worth your time, allowing you to relax and enjoy the tranquility.

I don't quite agree with one of the reviews, as the past is quite well-revealed. There are no unnecessary fillers or dramas. The only thing that seemed strange was the sudden antipathy of the MC's colleague from work. However, it's possible that this is just a given, as people sometimes don't need a reason to dislike you.
