I'm the translator so my review might be biased.

Our protagonist, Amon, gets hired at an academy just when it goes bankrupt but he can't quit the job and has to honor the 3 year contract because he can't afford the penalty fee.

At first Amon tries to make the academy go under completely but fails spectacularly so he decides to teach the remaining 2 students well and restore the academy.

I've only translated till ch30 so I don't know how the story will progress but so far its been very funny and... more>> I've enjoyed the fact that every character has its unique quirk.

In conclusion if you want a serious plot this novel it's not for you but if you want a light read full of comedy you came to the right place. <<less

It was good at the start but the author couldn't sustain it, and the things that replaced it are all a bit over the top unrealistic for comedy type effects that weren't funny due to how unnatural it compared to the first half I read which was still believable and also funny. The translation also started to get worse in quality the further I read in. Though overall everything is fine, gender pronouns start to get mixed semi-frequently and more importantly, there are parts of the novel that become incomprehensible... more>> due to the translation such as Sloth's family situation.

Again as I state, the first part of the story was pretty good. A unknowingly op protag without commen sense gets enrolled to become a teacher at a failing academy with two incompetent elf girls managing it, a sword teacher girl who's always sleeping, and a drunkard magic teacher. Even the students arent normal. Though one is for 'now', we have a yandere girl who sees everyone as a literal pig other than MC, and a ugly extreme narcissist boy who creates dolls of himself to sleep and hug with constantly. With failing finances and the horrible situation he trys to bankrupt what little the Academy has left so he doesn't need to pay the contract fee of breaking the terms (leaving) but ends up having a Midas Touch in investments forcing him to stay. All the characters and story build up to the tournament were great.

The problem came afterwards. The quality degraded pretty hard in my opinion.

We literally have a 0 romance nor build up sudden marriage for one, though it got canceled in the end. We also have a baby minded emperor that was very annoying,

and our MC started to be annoying too as he isnt getting character development and seems to be getting plot forced pretty hard woth how he acts. But the overall quality from there just degraded to me and I only kept reading on due to sunken cost but I give up. The novel always relied on comedy, but all the developments from the spoiler just became too unrealistic, unnatural, and very forced. Nor was it funny compared to the first half events I read. <<less
