She said, “I seriously suspect that the Villainous Saintess and the Benevolent Saintess are the same person.”

The reasons are as follows — it’s chilling upon closer inspection.

They are both saintesses.

They both, astonishingly, preside over our Knight Order.

The Villainous Saintess has never denied being the Benevolent Saintess.

A sweet story, just wish that it was a little longer. While the ending has no flaws per se, I just wish we got to see a little more in the final chapters. Part of me suspects a premature ending, but it's also possible that's not the case. This is worth a read for sure, especially if you don't mind misunderstandings and a little bit of bittersweet drama (it does get better over time). It was such an interesting world and premise, especially with the plot twist that appeared near... more>> the end, I feel that it was a missed opportunity to expand upon those. So while the story did everything it needed to, it definitely had potential to keep going. Though I wouldn't let that discourage potential readers, after all it is a complete, heartwarming story.

Ab one more thing, though this is a genderbender story, it barely gets mentioned later on (I suspect maybe even the author forgot) but I wouldn't call it a criticism because technically there was nothing to suggest that it suddenly wasn't the case. It's simply a great read beyond that aspect, but do be aware if you are reading it for that purpose, it doesn't get mentioned pretty much at all.

I see that there's a web novel, but I'm not sure what the difference is. Maybe it tackles the premise slightly differently and answers some unanswered questions. <<less
