Su Yun was once a legendary underground boss, until death sent him into another world. Unlike those who transmigrate as Heaven’s chosen protagonists, he woke up as a villain inside a cultivation novel.

In the original story, this villain’s background was terrifying.

His father was one of Huaxia’s Six Great Primordial Gods. His mother came from the Qin Clan, an ancient family passed down since the Qin Dynasty, and she was the eldest daughter and the true core of that lineage.

Born into overwhelming privilege, Su Yun stood at the peak of power from the moment he was born. On top of that, he awakened the ancestral Martial Soul of Fuxi, the legendary god of Huaxia. Divine blood flowed through his veins, his talent defied common sense, and his starting point was something others could never reach.

His fiancée was Liu Ting, the campus belle of Qingbei Academy. With matching status, background, and position, they should have ended up together naturally. Instead, in the novel, Su Yun degraded himself to please her, chasing her shamelessly like a dog. In the end, she betrayed him, fell into the arms of the protagonist, and used the power of Su Yun’s parents to help that man rise.

Su Yun himself became nothing more than a stepping stone and died a miserable, forgotten death.

Faced with such a humiliating life, Su Yun could not accept it.

With such a perfect beginning, an invincible background, terrifying talent, and overwhelming authority, how did everything end up like this? How did he allow himself to be played into such a pathetic state?

The moment he awakened after rebirth, Liu Ting stormed into his hospital room and pressured him relentlessly. She demanded that he let go of a man who was pursuing her, threatening to have him killed if he dared interfere.

“My own fiancée,” Su Yun sneered, “threatening to kill me for another man.”

His gaze turned cold as he looked straight at her.

“Liu Ting, you are not worthy of being my woman. Tomorrow, I will send people to your house to formally dissolve our engagement.”

“Get lost.” Su Yun turned around without another glance, leaving with his personal maid and abandoning Liu Ting where she stood, completely stunned.

What he did not expect was that the very next day, Liu Ting would begin chasing him obsessively.

If you want some pure power fantasy, then this is it.

I find it personally takes the fun out of things when the main character starts out as some ruthless, power-hungry elite, gets reincarnated into a novel he knows the plot of, takes over the identity of the heir to the strongest most influential family, gets a System that rewards him whenever steals stuff with punishments or limitations, and gets the literal strongest cultivation technique in the world's existence as one of the System's first rewards.

Just seems a bit much for... more>> me.

Barring that, no real glaring errors besides some logical inconsistencies with the power system. Just an unapologetic OP protagonist with zero struggles. <<less
